It doesn't change almost anything.
A terrible youth will still be a terrible youth and you don't need to see his skills before to know that he will be terrible.
The only change is that you will see that a possible good youth has a terrible skill draw. THAT could be useful only if you had 24+ youths that you want to keep because they can be good. Do you have such a problem? Because I can easily leave max 10 youths all the time and some of them would still be close to worthless after coming out.
But it helps with nothing, it changes nothing in the core - if you had a terrible youth school you will still have a terrible one, if you have a lucky one you will still have a lucky one. Pointless change.

I am agree, but It could help for few good draws we keep, for finally crying when we discover skills distrib. So, even less juniors to keep, good catch :-)
"Assistant for skills visibility" it is also coding frontend/backend, not such a small step, basically it could take years for a sokker dev.

1. balance skill distribution, for example, predefine a player for a position they're suitable for to avoid situations where points go to goalkeeping or defense with shooting, leaving all others at a tragic level.
2. balance talent drawings and the level of youths, more along the Gaussian curve (i.e., many moderately talented players, huge talents appearing rarely, and equally huge failures).
3. I would keep the idea of releasing the skill limit of a player leaving the academy at an older age so that there is still a chance that some players can almost enter the first team directly from the academy (or at least from the bench without great harm to the game level).
4. I would keep the idea of the analyst position - it can even be expanded, a divine analyst would, for example, give a glimpse of a player's skills during training.
1. reducing the number of juniors coming in each week (probably by at least half, if not more)
2. better distribution of their age, most players should leave the academies at the age of 18/19+
Love all this, I think it sounds perfect to me.
Agree with you. It just will make the youth to be fired sooner, but still the problem of lack useful juniors would remain
My point...
The two primary and essential aspects that you need to modify in the youth module is to have information to make decisions and predefined profiles to avoid players with speed, technique, zero passes.
The rest of the aspect that is intended to be defined can be done in stages.
Lousy profiles and no information, in my opinion, are the most terrible aspects currently. I understand that you will not always have good players, so the least I ask for is information to be able to decide and profiles that make sense.
I do not share one of the comments you raise, information will always be important, knowing 2-3 attributes should allow me to carry out better long-term planning.
It is logical that the greater the capacity of the youth school, the greater the probability of obtaining good prospects should be.

In fact, at no point did I talk about the assignment of these youth players to the academy, I only talked about the management aspect.
You can have 10, 20, 30 slots and you need information to manage, we should have tools to obtain it, was the central idea of my post. Regarding whether or not good players come to this, I understand what you are saying, to launch a first idea, when assigning skills to a new youth according to a field profile, a variable could be introduced that affects this assignment according to a investment or employee assigned to the team.
So I return to the same thing, they should not be complex changes applied on the first try.
Showing the skills should not be a problem if they are already stored at the time of creating the player, it would be adding information associated with the youth's ID to the query.

I see a bunch of Gauss curves but I don't understand what they're doing here. The Gauss curve is useful (not too much) if you have to estimate the effects of unpredictable events. Engineering a football simulation is certainly not the case. There is nothing to predict here. On the contrary, at the beginning of each season it is possible to define exactly what would be the distribution of skills that could guarantee the most fun to all the leagues. It's not about making predictions, it's just an engineering problem.
For example, in boxing, they avoid having heavyweights fight against featherweights. Sounds reasonable, just do the same thing.
The financial system must be used correctly and sokker is in danger of becoming slaves to it

Of course, but simple random is easier to program and consumes fewer resources. And that's Sokker at its base. (form, spectators, juniors draws, injuries... all depends on random)
Random is certainly convenient, but who wants a steering wheel that spins randomly? Or a randomly written business plan? Random isn't always the thing that works best, especially when it comes to updates that involve a few adjustments every three or four months
Sure, but in a perfect world.
In Sokker world, you can just expect few adjustments every few months. And not necessarily for the best. That's the way it's always been, ever since the game started.

I'm still hoping, that SOKKER will become considerably better!
If not, then I'll stop in December 2024
including my pre-paid membership of 10 years,
which SOKKER is allowed to keep!

Why do i have to tremble every time i have players with yellow cards from last season? Knowing that if they receive another one they will be suspended?
Stay out of this, if you don't have a clue,
which was the subject of my previous letter!!!

you don't have to wait till December
they already confirmed they don't have time & money for improvements, so this game won't get better in nearest years
