Thema: Fans expectations
Thank you for sharing with us!
Do you have any more information that you can share with us?
How does the money effect fan expectations? Is it only based on you current amount or are seasonal spending included into that aswell?
How do promotions/demotions effect the expectaions?
I see a lot us users, purposely losing games, droping tiers, to then compete and climb in lower leauges, is this being promoted/rewarded in this new system?
Thanks!

I don't have all answers, but I just could share the thing I said in my previous post, because of what was said in the private forum. It was only a brief explanation.
Now, for fan expectations, I only know this: The expectations are made for a whole season, so the start of the season will be the moment the calculation of your team + your bank account will take place. It is then that the ''strength'' of your team is valuated and compaired with your league opponents. The % I have no clue...
So expectations will not change during a season.
As for promotions / relegations... I have no clue, but it's all submissive to the seasonal expectations.
If your expectations are to promote and you do, then you will have a small bonus to your fan mood.
If the expectations are to not promote and you do, the bonus will be higher, since you then have exceeded the expectations.
If you relegate, then you can expect a penalty on your fan mood. The level of penalty is probably based on the difference of expectations...
As for the purposely losing games...
Sadly the game gives more financial bonus to people who farm. I personally think it's a problem that cannot be solved with an easy solution like taxes or penalties.
There are lots of managers who don't find enough pleasure within competing, but all the more in green thursdays.
So if you're going to punish their playstyle then you're going to encourage them to quit the game.
So for as long as the game is hanging on less than 10k users, the solution is to keep things as they are on that field.
We need to give new managers more things to work with, as a great tutorial, more starting money, better coaches, better players and a better field.
You will never encourage a new player to stay if they need to ''farm'' the first 2 - 3 full years in order for them to get at a similar basic level as the older teams, meaning, larger stadium, brilliant / magical coaches and better trainees / A-team and maybe also a decent working youth team.
And then, with the 2-3 years I was being optimistic, since it only will be achieved by managers who either return to the game or really know how to work with the game due to a better know how of games like this.
I guess we will have to be patient and see where the future will bring our beloved Sokker...

Guys, even after the official communication, I am personally strugguling to understand this new system.
Tuesday - mood is 3/7
Wednesday - my team won
Thursday - mood raise to 4/7
Saturday - mood DROP to 3/7
Should I speak to directly with Raul or something? My club is much above the expectations and every week is worse than the previous one.

its really hard to say without knowing your exact circumstances, both this season AND last.
but just try to understand that 4/7 is like a black hole. The mood WANTS to move towards that. Unless you are overachieving or underachieving (both this season, and last)

I dont know if friendly matches are taken into account when calculating mood, but You have also lost a friendly match on Friday, so if after Thursday the mood was e.g. 4.00 (4/7) and after that lost match dropped slightly e.g. to 3.99 (3/7) then it doesnt seem to be weird

Try it by losing a friendly against a much weaker opponent and tell me later :) It also impacts the national ranking in the same way as league matches.
yeah, I am not a fan of rankings being influenced by friendlies. But it is what it is.
I thought it was used for assessing fans expectations of a given match, as well?

I did lose the friendly indeed.. but c'mom, it shouldn't be taken into account.
ohh islander I hope to be eaten by this black hole..
if not, then I'll have to write a science article, because I found something able to scape a black hole.. and it is Atlético Mutuipense (hahahahaha)

No, fans expectations for a single result is based off number of fans each side has. Ranking is only for cup draws
unluckily yes, it is, not sure if it always has been like that
Club games and NT games should have different weight according to the competition

Cometer: That's incredibly dumb then. Fan base shouldn't have any effect on what supporters think.
It would be much more logical to base it on team ranking, or, even better, per-player value comparison between the teams.
You could use the league starting 11 values as the variable. This would also account for differing leagues since value is value, league regardless.

hi islander,
actually the cycle was very good.
1. expectations are according to the fan size
2. after the match, the mood is updated. also the ranking is updated according to the formula based on ranking
3. new mood will impact the weekly change on your fan size
repeat
I dont know how is it now according to the updates, but this system allowed you to climb very fast on fan size.
For example, you are a team that just reached first division. You start winning everything there, reaching even 1st place in national rank. For your fanbase it means it will increase as crazy, even if you lose some against a bigger fansize team, your team could lose ranking points but wont lose mood/fans, of course depends on the specifica result calculation
