Since I don't have money I wanted to take a shot at recruiting a coach to maximize my skills, and I ended up being an incredible 52 years old. I've never had any luck, and I've spent a lot of money on it. I will wait until they retire and in that case I will stay with the coach who leaves but without setting requirements because it is a lottery any type of coach comes out and he may even be close to retirement age.
You were just lucky.
Its been always worse than 20%. It was like 2% :D

one season before retirement is too little time... it is not surprising that the overwhelming majority have a negative reaction.
I can't even imagine what an explosion of negativity will be when managers who are inactive on the forum receive a message about the removal of their coaches!
I think that it is necessary to reconsider the time for introducing this change.
it is necessary to change the age of all coaches over 70 years old to a random age of 55-65 years old. The older the coach is now, the closer his new age should be to 65 years old.
5-6 seasons before dismissal is comfortable.
1 season before dismissal is terrible!

BTW, my stadium is 52.000 cap, but I had many times that it was almost full at 51.999. Is this any bug or something?
The 1 missing is YOU! :)

Its a bug. Consider stands with only 1 supporter missing as full and you can try raise prices if it is often.
it was you sitting home and watch game from pc or laptop :"D
DAMN!!! I never thought about that :)

I see this as an immersive change which makes the job as manager more challenging. However, I really feel sorry for all those managers who have 5 coaches above 90y old, who will 100% need to replace them by the end of next season! Go figure having worked towards a staff that costed you 30M and see them all vaporise within thin air in 1 season.
I recon the right thing to do is to pull back all coaches ages to max 60y this one time! Cause I see this feature pulling the plug out of lots of managers who are playing the game solely for training. I get that playing for results should be promoted, but that means that you must first make that part of the game far more attractive! This feature is good, but if it stays like this I can see a huge mass leaving the game. I hope I'm wrong, but figure them just investing in stadium and trainees and / or A-team players and they see their team falling apart from the inside and there's nothing they can do.
Like I said. This is a good change, BUT extra precautions must be made imo!
Getting an unearthly coach takes at least 1M (less if you're lucky). If you're have more luck you can generate an Unearthly coach less than 60 years old.
Imagine investing a lot of money in an unearthly coach that's 70 years old and with a high chance of retirement.

The ones you reject don't end up in the transferlist.
Didn´t know that. Thanks for the Information.
if you sign one and immediately sack him afterwards he will also not be TLed, probably need an Thursday update or something like that , maybe just a week in a club to be TLed after sacking

Aren’t you a little bit too dramatic? :p
6 seasons preparation would be like 1,5 year.
16 weeks is reasonable imo.
I think people need to get used to a new mindset. You want perfectly optimised coaching stuff? Either pay big or get extremely lucky.

Not everyone have enough money to pay for a couple coaches. If you have like 150m euro on your account, generating one is nothing.
Other people who only have a couple millions will not invest on generating new ones.

You don't have my method, that's why you call it luck.

Try 10M! I saw a couple fellow Belgian managers take in an unearthly coach after 5 tries! I spend 25M for 2!

Along with this change, It would be nice to implement the possibility to turn players into coaches (based on parameters like age, exp, days in the team etc) in order to add a little fun in the game

Niiiice.
I pulled a 5x unearthly 1x magical with garbage stam and gk. Lucky to only pay 200k.
Honestly though, I was accidentally prepared for this. I just have two 70 year olds now - one an assistant I have no issue replacing when it's practical.

To those curious.... the trainers that can go on tl is the ones you have had on contract in club, the ones you dismiss after pull vanish....
I think too 1 season before suddenly we must replace all coaches is short... 2-4 seasons implementation at least is needed.
But I think everyone mistakes who is punished.... New players and newer teams already have both young coaches since short time in the game and a need to gradually improve either way.... Rich teams Are the only ones who have the infamous unearthly coaches..... magical, brillants and incredible Are rather cheap to recruit on the draw ... 300 k eu for 10 pulls with Max settings.... New teams only should put 2-3 skills they want to train high anyway....
The consideration as I see it, is if the devs want 1000-2000 coaches replaced in an instant and making the biggest money drain ever in sokker compared to how fast, since both pulling and buying Are drainers or if they want slower implementations to not risking the financial status quo

- And I am definitely not daytrader or sitting on a pile of money! ;)
- I invested a lot to have good head coach, and now he can retire after 2 seasons!
- Some of trainers are there for over 60 seasons!
- Who's going to hurt more this retirement: someone playing 30 seasons, or me playing 4? They already paid off investment 100 times!
Idk how long it counts for club to be "new", but 4 seasons are not long, but at same time are over a year tough time to get here, and this retirement is not helpful in any case! Why? I made long term plan and decided from very beginning to go with better coaches, invested a lot in coaching stuff, bought affordable trainees with similar training requirements, and sell only if I have to and my finances are critical.
Now this will make my club like any other they try to fight against - buying and selling in cycles and collecting money for trainers recruitment, salaries and case I decide to compete and fight for promotion... when finances allow me.
I know lot of people bothers clubs having couple hundred millions on account.
Wasn't just easier make limit how much they can spend over season according to league level? If they want to invest 100M, they need to fight for promotion first!
Second, make U21/NT games complete arcade so we can play with strongest teams! This crap disabling coaches to see players skills is ridiculous! Do managers know we can still play their players without knowing their skills, and they still can pick injury in Q or WC match!
There is a lot of things bothering me, but rich clubs aren't any of my problems! I think lot of people are just jealous they can afford best trainees, or rich clubs didn't picked any of their players...
You say it will be same for all: I don't think so - it's not same club having 250k, 2.5M, 25M, or 250M on account. I am in second group and recruiting new coach after 2-3 seasons was not in my mind! And it can cost lot more as I have there...
Priority was to expand stadium so I can afford salaries of 2 magical and 3 brilliant coaches, and some of my players reached brilliant skills so I can assume I need to pay them accordingly after season ends! ;)
