RIP Sokker.
Last time I pay my plus.
I thought it will be a good idea comeback to this game but it's kinda ruined now.
Besides, the communication between users and devs it's almost zero. They just do what they want without telling us anything.
Now with this taxes you'll have to train players 2-3 seasons before you want to put them into TL.
2024-01-01 23:13:03
Yes they did in the past.
Of course the communication about is not good, they should tell exactly when it is introduced an tell in advance.

Dev. Diary 69:

Financial reform.
It is easy to see that shortening the season while accumulating matches has significantly affected the economics of the game. Instead of 7 "home" games in 16 weeks, we have 11 such games in 13 weeks. In addition, pre-season bonuses fall more often. So far, we have not interfered in any way and are observing the effects. After this period of observation, we are now sure that a reaction is necessary and are considering various scenarios. The most likely ones are:
- an adjustment in the number of fans willing to come to the stadium,
- increasing the weekly salaries of top players (we note that teams in the higher leagues have benefited the most, so the adjustment should remove this advantage),
- an increase in certain fees and/or taxes.

Ask Raul. Looks like he stealth implemented a painful tax on daytraders.
2024-01-01 23:27:04
and it was no f daytrading. i just needed training place for another player and i sold the player for half the price i paid him for
2024-01-01 23:37:21
Tass an Poey
They didn't saay when it's gonna be implemented.
Just give a date so we can organise our teams and sells...
2024-01-01 23:41:37
Of course the communication about is not good, they should tell exactly when it is introduced.

They should, but many users won't read Dev Diary anyway. There would be an easy fix for that - two days before introducing this tax they should also put the info about tax % in the sale window, so all the sellers affected by this change are informed about it right before selling a player. Something like that:

2024-01-01 23:52:31
They obviously fucked up and should've introduced it differently.

I will be surprised if it wasn't just a DEV fuckup and the tax change wasn't supposed to go online at this moment, but some time in the near future.
2024-01-01 23:55:45
Yes, that would be nice to receive.

Thinking about this higher tax I do see more and more problems.
Nobody will buy 30y + players to be competitive anymore, this because you cant sell them before the age of 37/38 with zero skills.., otherwise you will pay 20% + tax...
I think this update will kill the game in the end.
(Edith war hier)
2024-01-01 23:58:07
That fact will compensate with the other fact: 30y + players had many years of training during 16 week long seasons, so they should be a lot better than any other player with 2 or 3 years less, so they should be interesting to buy.
2024-01-01 23:59:34
Correct, but in the future 1 fact will stay only..., the killing one.
But everyone will suffer, so maybe that will save us.
Only thing I am realy afraid of is that the game wont be competitive anymore.

I'm sure you'll survive the 72k loss ;o) I remember when the GK prices plummeted about half a year ago, and I sold a young player I had trained for 4 months. I had to eat a 3,6 million loss on that one, which sucked a little :p

I'm just messing with you, of course. They should've announced a date for this change in advance.
2024-01-02 00:15:30
Nobody will buy 30y + players to be competitive anymore, this because you cant sell them before the age of 37/38 with zero skills.., otherwise you will pay 20% + tax...

I don't think it's that big of a difference that nobody will buy them?
If someone buys old player and then sells him after 2 seasons, let's say his value decreased from 8M to 4M, he will pay about 15% tax on that 4M instead of 10%, so 0.6M instead of 0.4M. This makes it a total loss of 4.6M instead of 4.4M.
And if less users want to buy old players then it could make their prices lower... so instead of going 8M -> 4M it might be something like 7.6M -> 3.8M, making total loss similar to the one earlier :P

"Besides, the communication between users and devs it's almost zero. They just do what they want without telling us anything."

This is the crux of the problem. I think the 'training for two/three seasons" is good, and what they want...but the lack of warning and communication is inexcusable.

They don't listen to the community.
We give life to the game and we are not valued.

They are killing the game, it is getting more and more boring.

They don't value users and they disrespect us.
Last time I paid Plus.
We should all stop paying it so that their pockets hurt so they can listen to us.
