frustration i guess

Well, the referee in the game between Barca and Inter, the referee was unfair against Barca.

when? while he was giving red to Motta for simulating 'one-eye' Busquets?
2012-04-03 22:50:52
I dont remember well, but i recall in the aftermath Barca was lets say a little behind in the equation. In the 1st match a penalty wasnt given. OK the red was extreme, but you know that in most cases footballers tend to be the best actors when it comes to situations like that.

not all of them...and let's face it - many Barca players are diving queens. Busquets and Alves simulate all the time and the rest isn't much worse at it...also they make constant pressure on the ref by shouting at him, most annoying is Valdes who sometimes runs to centre of field just to scream at the ref, even though he didn't see anything from where he was standing

it's just ridiculous...

I haven't seen the game against Milan today [was playing football myself], but in previous seasons Barca was always helped a lot by the refs, especially against Chelsea, who deserved at least 2 penalties, some say that even 3-4...

Barca plays amazing football, but in 20 years I will remember them as the most diving, crying and simulating team that I have ever seen and many people will do so as well - which is a shame.

I agree that they get much help. But on the part of the diving and the crying and simulating team, i dont agree. There are many many teams the have such players unfortunately. Real is also such a team. I dont like it how it is in Spain with Barca and Real getting anything they need. In Greece there are also many players that are that way.

Of course there are other diving players - Torres, Drogba, lately Carroll, Gilardino, Krasic and you can go on and on...

the thing is that Barca as a team dives much more than other teams and is more ridiculous at simulating...they get hit in the chest, they suddenly go down and cry, holding their face + 4-6 players run and shout at referee - you don't see such things too often in other teams, but when Barca has a tough game then you see it all the time :/

Many things i hate the way football has became. Everything is about money and they try everything the achieve that. Its not anymore about sports.

barçaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

magic has won again!

Barça also get fouled a lot more then any other team because they are SO dominant. Opponents usually get very frustrated and often see fouling them or going in overly strong as the only options. (which results in dives .. especially when you face these challenges every game.. and it's propably something to do with culture as well, but tbh I don't care at all. In fact few weeks weeks ago I saw Drogba do the exact same thing as Busi :p)

I'm pretty sure that this team is already considered amongst the greatest ever by almost everyone on the planet who follows football. Imo it's the best ever :) I'm so happy that I can witness this wonderful, colourful team week in week out!! I will be telling my grandchildren that I was priviliged to watch Messi, the best of all time. I will be telling them that I marvelled when don Andres glided past a couple madridistas using nothing but pure technique. I will be telling them about Xavi being the true mastermind behind it all. Can't wait :D

I agree, but I would love Barça even more if they wouldn't dive that much. Whether you like Barça's style or not, you cannot deny the fact that Barça likes to dive during the match. That is frustrating.

But their football itself is astonishing, no doubt. Absolutely love it.
Have you seen barça players diving during these matches?

Again... if you have the ball, 70%, everymatch, you get lots of hard kicking. Diving, I see it every sunday since I was a kid...

Well then, it's a matter of different approach to football.

2 weeks ago Juve was playing Inter. Chiellini, no idea why, decided to dive and simulate throughout the game[about 3 times]. Even though he was massive as a defender, I was very disappointed in the way he acted on the field...like a crybaby.

yes, Barca gets fouled a lot. but often these fouls are non-existant

yes, Drogba did the same - but he is a well known diver. and here's the difference, many teams have a diver or two in their team, but in Barca almost everybody dives

I have football supporters of many teams on my fb [Milan, Arsenal, Chelsea, United, Juve etc.] and no one praised Barca yesterday, everyone was either angry or laughing at FC Referee Barcelona. In my opinion Barca simply destroyed their image of greatness by excessive diving and simulating. They harmed themselves.

May be true. But how many of you friends on fb are Polish? Perhaps it's possible that common point of view has been formed by culture or by a common commentator on TV? F.e. in Holland everybody loves Barça and I bet that opinion is formed because of praise on TV. But whenever I see Marcin Wasilewski play, I can understand that you think none of these challenges are actually fouls. So yeah, culture has a lot to with it. I've been told that in South America diving is considered to be part of the game: outwitting your opponent and being technically superior so that they have to come in strong.

Finally, I think you're also being a tad ... (no, that's not the word I'm looking for.. the word I'm looking for is very) ... VERY hypocritical there, linking Barça that direct to a referee. Have you already forgotten that a team like Juventus likes to buy their way to Serie A titels? Surely I must not remember you? :)

I'd read the dutch forum if i were you then :p

Just did. Nothing but praise for Barça. What are you on about?
