Thema: Football shame !

I never compared stadiums but unfortunately you're too ignorant to really read or even consider my points.
I said the Germans stadiums weren't built for the WC and the attendance is higher, that's all.

The problems of the Premier League and England itself are something else.
2010-12-05 19:25:30
There was only very few work on the stadiums for the WC.

Thats what you actually said initially, which was wrong. The whole thing started by you saying that Englands stadiums weren't as good as Germany or something which again isnt true.
Attendances have nothing to do with hosting world cups.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_attendance_figures_at_domestic_professional_sports_leagues

and would you look at that, more people go to premier league games than bundesliga games.

and would you look at that, more people go to premier league games than bundesliga games.

say whaaaaaaaa...?

Bundesliga average attendance: 41,802
PL av. att: 34,150
2010-12-05 20:35:08
PL total attendance - 13.5m
Bundesliga - 13m

Championship - 9.9m
Bundesliga 2 - 4.7m

League 1 - 4.6m
3rd liga - 2.1m

league 2 + conf - 3.6m
Nord + Sud - 2.5m

England has far more teams for 30m less people to support, so the german teams are going to get higher attendances through lack of choice, but as you can see, proportionately, English games are far, far, far better attended than german games
2010-12-05 20:36:39
we're talking about the first league I guess and the total attendance is not valid here, because in PL more games are being played throughout the season.

Anywho, the whole discussion lacks sense...;)
2010-12-05 20:40:07
it has sense. More people watch football in England and the stadiums are better. Best in the world, which was what the argument kind of went into.

Qatar is a sham, they're going to ship out their stadiums after the WC, wonder where they'll be going -.-
2010-12-06 07:30:03
imo FIFA didn't chose EU countries also USA mostly because of the recession..that's all. while russia n qatar seems fit to host a WC because this countries are have more stabilization in financial than most of EU countries since they have a lot of financial back-up from oil to build the WC facilities..and the qatar idea to donate some of stadium parts after the WC to other develop countries is not a shame..in fact, that idea is fit with FIFA's mission.. (“develop the game, touch the world, build a better future”)
2010-12-06 12:23:52
the recession wont still be here though then, besides, we dont need to anything, that's kind of the point. Yes that's great for Qatar, but will they really be going to the right places or just to the countries that gave them their vote?
FIFA isn't a charity organization ... There is only one reason why Qatar and Russia got the WC and everyone knows it. Corruption is all that matters.
Stable economy? Who says we still need oil in 2022? Or will there still be oil? :-)

anyway, agreeing with Rubinho. Fifa doesn't care about football. They only care about money.
Let's all enjoy the beautifull game, and ignore the fifa policy. Football is too much fun to be ruïned by some money hungry organization.
2010-12-08 17:19:57
FIFA just showed how stupid they are by skipping Sneijder in 3 best footballers of the year bunch of twats
2010-12-08 17:28:16
fifaleaks.org :P

I have some ridicules decisions of ref's, maybe something to post on this site. Idiots with their anti-technology ...
2010-12-08 17:46:07
Are you for real or just a troll? I mean, your arguments are far out... like "if you don't count the stadiums made for the 2006 WC"; who gives a damn about when or for what purpose they were build. The fact is that they were build. It's like saying "if you don't count the stadiums made for PL". I just doesn't make sense. Also comparing total league attendances without taking number of matches played into account. That makes no sense. If each Bundesliga team had e.g. 50 matches per season then it obviously would have had a higher total attendance. Your arguments are so flawed.

Edith Schippers, Dutch minister of sport, calls for fairplay in the organisation of FIFA, like the FIFA is calling for fairplay on the footbalfields. She hopes to get help from other countries. Their can't be any corruption in the largest sportorganisation. Things has to change, and now that also England is fucked maybe this time things will really change.
2010-12-08 18:08:10
FIFA President Sepp Blatter has branded England as 'bad losers' after their reaction to the failed World Cup bid.

FIFA win! +1
2010-12-08 19:56:55
the arguments and points are totally valid for what i was replying to.

German stadiums were poorer for their WC bid and more people watch football in England, totals and proportionately. Facts.
