Thema: People Who Can Help

2007-12-03 16:57:23
What's that then.
2007-12-03 17:35:06
i learnt on what all players need from Phil of course, what they should do training wise and tactics wise
2007-12-03 17:42:02
It depends though on the set of starter players they have, they may need to change a lot, or may be very fortunate and have a few nice trainable players, tactics depends on players as much as anything, no point playing 4-3-3, with only 1 decent striker.

Also you have to let the newbie have some freedom, can't dictate everything to them, as training can depend on what they want to do, unless of course they just want to do as you say, and wait a few weeks until they try anything, usually not the case though.
2007-12-03 18:04:06
yh i know newbies need freedom, i am only going to give them advise its up to them to take it.
2007-12-03 18:19:02
That's really not the point.
2007-12-03 18:19:57
If someone does ask for help, the easiest thing to do is to direct them to all of the existing literature (especially the stuff in the "important Links" thread, and get them to come back to you with any questions that come up.

If you are not totally sure then ask Phil (I believe he has helped you out a bit) or another experienced user on their behalf.

thanks for putting me on the list, dont listen to dylan :)
2007-12-03 18:36:01
I think it's only fair to put you on the list. There are a lot of managers with experience who don't want to be there. That's no disrespect to them, there are many reasons why they might not want to be and that's fair enough.

Just make sure you are fully confident the advice you give is sound. Also be careful not to guide them only in the direction you would go if it were your own team. Give them options.

Saying that the advice needed for the first 6 odd weeks should be fairly standard.
2007-12-03 18:56:27
I am just testing you.

What are the first things you would recommend for a newbie? What should he do in first weeks.
2007-12-03 19:28:10
i will tell them to go into the forums and ask for help then i will tell him to a coach that can train stamina for the first 3 weeks and also tell him to get a very good coach for the youth, i can go on if you want me to
2007-12-03 19:32:00
also i will tell to read Robnobs Newbie Guide on the Newbie England forum
2007-12-03 19:51:24
That's some awesome advice.
2007-12-03 19:52:55
