Inter an Alle
Hi all,
fingers crossed promotion looks like its on the cards to div II and was wondering if there was anyway of having a rough idea of what money i will have coming in as to how high wages i can afford next season? thanks

You'll get more sitting at the bottom of II than the top of III.

Not sure how much you will get though, leagues have been rejigged last time went III to II but think it was about 50% more. Also depends on other teams in II and if you can get some results to boost fan mood.

ok thanks, just juggling improvements without putting myself in huge danger/debts but for my own enjoyment dont really want to get destroyed every week next season????

I preferred getting destroyed in II than destroying bots in III..which get very boring very quickly and yes agree with aluminium that as long as you don’t lose every week you should benefit from faster fanclub rises and bigger match attendances in II.

yes thats true, its not really any sort of test atm and i think whatever tactics and players i put out should win in this division (sorry still very new here..) so go for a solid base and nick something on the break and invest in a quality striker? and stick with the younger players for development and just take whatever results come with it?

It’s up to you. Young players that you train up will get you more money longer term. A few pensioners 37yo+ can be picked up for low cost and bolster first team but will lose skills rapidly and add to your wage bill.

Be careful with finances early on - two matches a week really help now but I almost bankrupted myself early days spending too much on wages and coaches. Aim to break even each week (assuming 1 home game in that week)

ok yes that makes sense, as im not sure what ill get in terms of income next year i dont want to cripple myself with wages but have what i think are decent coaches so hope to develop and sell some younger players along the way. but thanks for all the advice, its very clear and a huge help so much appreciated.

Remember main coach the only important skill is what you train. So go for brilliant to unearthly just in specific skills to keep wages low. Other coaches it’s their general appraisal. At the start of the game you can get solid assistants with very low salaries by having spread of skills all around solid. Much below that skill level is so cheap it’s essentially free to fill your assistant spaces. Weekly wages rise from that skill level up.

ok thanks how does that work now the trainings change since i was last on here in terms of the main coach/skills and when you say fill up assistant spaces is that limited? and all around solid as a starting point? thanks

Coach system just the same - training looks at the specific skill of your main coach and then takes the general skill for assistants.

Where it’s different is which players you train, unlike before you can now pick 10 players for extra training and train different skills so a GK might get Pace training a DEF defender, MID technique and ATT pace - which in that case would look at the specific training skills for pace defender and technique.

ok thanks that makes sense, is the extra training taken from the skills of the main coach?

Not sure what you mean? The general training for other players?

oh sorry, so on training where you can pick the training type for each position GK/DEF/MID/STR is that effected by your main coaches stats.

e.g if i set Def to train Pace and Mids to train Passing.. But my head coach has high level pace but low passing will it negatively impact on my Mids as his passing stat is low. or is it taken as like an average across all the coaches?

hope that makes sense, i really appreciate your time/help
