Thema: Match Tactics

Hi all,

I still haven't quite got my head around tactics. I was having problems editing my tactics before but found some advice about downloading flash player which I've now done. The tactics editor (under Training) works fine now and I've been able to create a tactic of my own based on the standard 3-4-3 - problem is when I pull this into the match orders, all 10 outfield players are shown as huddled together in the centre circle :-(. Any idea what I'm doing wrong - like I say, it looks fine if I look at it in Tactics but as soon as I try and use for a match it goes weird.

I've tried it in both Chrome and Firefox and its the same in both.

Have you selected your own tactic from the drop down menu in Squad (top right) - Basic tactics?

* For future reference what can happen here is you delete such a named tactic say 'mine' then create another 1 name it the same name but the 1 you selected is in fact your old 1 till you RE-select it.

If not it still sounds abit like the google fault before the fix, but the players went all over the shop not just huddled around center circle & firefox had no issues ...hmm got me.

Maybe attempt another tactic in firefox only for now, move 1 player alot in most squares call it somthing different and go to match orders and select that tactic in basic tatcis , has that player moved to an overall position of where you put it?

As i hav'nt a issue with firefox i'm still hopeing it's you or your browser as there isnt a bug.

Sorted. I didn't realise the match orders screen is an average position for the players. I've edited my user tactic, moving the ball (and players) all over the pitch and saving each time and it all looks better now.

Didn't help much in my friendly last night though - I got stuffed 19-0 (and I think I was lucky to get nil !!).

Oh well - early days :-)
