Okay, not completely sure what to do next! I've been training these beasts with the plan of switching to pace training next season, but with the increase of their age as well as their pace, I'm not sure if their valuation would change much?

I have a pretty decent coaching team, with 2 of my 3 assistants at "brilliant" (The other being excellent), and my main coach has the ability to coach both pace and defender to a high level, but like I say, not sure whether to keep on training or to cash in!

As you can imagine, I am making a loss weekly financially, but with just over 2 million in the bank, I am safe for a while. Any advice? Sell or Keep?

Without doubt, do NOT sell now. Without hardly any pace, those players will not sell all that well, but are lucrative to a pace trainer.

+1

Nice looking players though, I could use people like that..

OHHH...train pace this season and the next season you will have about 2-3 mill in the bank!!

really nice players. do you mind telling me when you began their training in defence, what their starting skills were like, and their talent if you know.

U shud switch to pace training and get the max money out of these guys like everyone advised.. as a pace trainer I would give an arm and a leg for those players

Would you though? Because that is basically telling him to sell...

What i think you mean is, "i would give you bargain prices for those players because i know i can get them cheap, and they will be worth a lot to me because i train pace".

;)

Thanks :) I signed them all at 16... They had around weak / average defender initially I think... I trained a keeper beforehand and sold him for loads, so was able to splash out a bit. No idea about talent though sadly :(

Cheers for the advice everyone, I will take it on board

...

Ohh... Also, I think I'm beginning to get the hang of this whole training lark (not so much selling, but training)... I am proud to say I am responsible for the Portugal u21 keeper! So with that in mind, I guess I should turn my attention to training up England players! So my next question is, what could you as a nation do with most? A defender trainer or a keeper trainer? (Maybe I'm getting ahead of myself. idk)

The U21 manager has made it clear that keepers are on the very much needed list.

Personally I'd find it really boring though.

I may just do this then... I proved to myself that I could train keepers effectively... These defenders are developing slower it seems

Hehe DJ.. I was just trying to emphasize how much Lee could get for them players! :) Honestly Lee, I would not go to keeper training as it will not pay as much as training any other position. Keeper trainers are selfless guys who do it for NT like our very own Buzzy.

I agree. Keep with those DEF's!

I agree... I started training GK... and I am selfless... :)

Ill see how much I get for these guys when I come to sell
