More newbie questions, sorry.
Just clicked on my user name and got access to some options. One of them is "Skill Numbers" and it has a drop down menu next to it. The two extremes I understand, but I can't work out what selecting "hints" does.
Any idea anyone?

when you roll your mouse over the skill name, it shows the skill number. at least thats what i think.
