If a player has a slight injury is it worth me playing them still or would you never do this under any circumstances? Are they almost certain to get crocked if I do so? Thanks.

I always play slightly injured players, however many days they have until full fitness.

I think it is written they have a higher chance of injury (not sure if true) but I actually don't think I have ever had a slightly injured player re-injured.

Others may have a different take.

Funny enough, I have never had a slightly injured player get injured, till this week. I was also told that if a slightly injured player get injured, he gets a longer period, but that is not true. Had a player who while slightly injured got injured again and was out for 9 days, then the follwoing week he got injured again and now out for 20 odd days. Needs to sort his life out tbh...

Obviously slightly injured players, dont play aswell as if he was fully fit.

It's a luck of the draw thing. The worst kind of injuries are ones where a player gets a full injury, stays on the pitch and then picks up another full injury. I am fairly certain someone posted a 50 day area injury once!

Yep, it was something around that length.

Quite recently I played a slightly injured player to avoid losing training and they then got something lik a 28 day injury

It has probably happened to me before, but not regularly enough for me to consider not fielding one again and losing the training.

I think it's "horses for courses" - depends on your appetite for risk, team etc.

For example if you have a spare trainee, then you might say "meh" and not take the risk, and let the other guy get training

If it's not a trainable player, then it might depend on importance of the game, and available backup.... If it's an easy game and you've got limited backup, you might drop him, if opposite not.

In both those examples, i never have "spare" trainees. They are just players who got no training 80% of the time.

And i never have decent back-ups, so fielding a sub is not a priority over a slightly injured first teamer.
