After a match has finished, if you click on report and then click on individual marks each player has an off and def %. What do they mean and any idea how they are calculated? Thanks.

Good question.

I believe as follows.

Off = the time when you are in possession.
Def = the time when your opponent is in possession.

When off it shows percentage for each player. So if a player has off 20% then when you have the ball, 20 % of the time that player has the ball.

When def I think it shows which of your players is nearest to the opponent in possession.

Frankly it is only partially useful - I ten to focus more on off as that gives me a feeling of who in possession...especially useful when comparing across player types eg which mid has most possession for my tactic then look why if tactic or cos is best.

Interestingly I am not sure if this question has been asked before so my caution is that I could be wrong

In my opinion it helps with the tactic because it shows how much you used current player in game. More % better used, less percentage you screwed with the tactic as you could use guy better.

yes and no....and you can only ever have 100% shared across your players, so you might be quite happy with certain players scoring a low %....especiallly if they are your weak link :)

or they are defenders, and only your mids and atatcks get high % marks ;)

I have never taken any notice of these. Would be surprised if the top managers did either.

I've done alright.
