thats what you want mate with them kind of 16 year olds! you just have to wait and see if he is talented now, as he will be joining your squad just as he turns 18 :)
2013-01-26 17:24:38
That's the perfect starting youth (highest skill, almost max amount of weeks [35] and at the start of the season.
2013-01-26 18:50:03
Thanks, so I'll take it that's promising then ;-)
2013-01-30 19:37:32
He obtained a 36 in defense, so that's encouraging.

My youth team have so far played 3 games, won 2 games and drawn the other and so far their results have been 1-0, 1-0 and 0-0. Get the guy in charge of those in as a my defense mentor ;-)
2013-02-12 22:15:11
My main team need to go and watch my youth team ;-)

Played 5 Won 4* Drawn 1 Lost 0 and still NO goals conceeded :-)

* 1 was a walkover
2013-02-13 09:35:00
Hats off. Mine are struggling in the 2nd tier. I pay the price a little for not keeping higher skilled older players for a bit more quality.
2013-02-19 22:04:54
Due to a walkover today, it's now 6 matches played, 0 goals conceeded ... lol ...

Obviously, my opponents have heard about us and are scared to play against the "big kids" ;-)

Now up to 7 matches played, 0 goals conceeded.

At least my juniors give me some joy ;-)
2013-03-05 23:02:44
First goals conceded by my junior team today and they lost too (2-0).

I have to say that the quality of my juniors is appalling still ... but still living in hope that a little gem will turn up one day! Not got a clue what to do if one does actually do so though ???

make sure you install osokker and you use some kind of program like Appolo or Soker Organiser to keep track of your youth...or if you have pro I think that is easier :)
2013-03-10 13:15:00
Um ok. What do I need to do to install these and where do I get them from. Maybe should have sorted this out when I started the junior school but no matter all of my juniors are currently poop anyway.
2013-03-18 11:49:39
Do you want to post your school here and let us help weed out the poorest ones?

You don't really need those assistant programs as you have Plus, but they are still a nice addition.

oSokker
Apollo
Sokker Organiser

I see you are still top of your Junior Division even with that defeat ;)
2013-03-19 14:30:18
Thanks, but I only currently have 11 youth players, so none are going to be fired right now ...
2013-12-20 13:24:43
I reckon I must be doing something wrong? I just have dross the entire time out of my junior squad :-(

Just in case I'm not firing the guys who I should actually be keeping what should I be looking for when a new junior turns up? Age preferably 16, but then what starting skill and how many weeks to maturity?

Or is it just depending on his starting skill because it seems to me the earlier that they mature the better as long as they have at least some semblence of a "skills set"?

Golly, I'm confused as to what I should be looking for!?!

Troy

Here is a rough guide to the minimum level junior you want to be promoting based on their exit age and week of the season (the two most important bits beside talent).

You can probably cailbrate this down a level if you are new to the game, or up one if you want the best. There isn't a golden rule, but this should help you promote decent juniors as a basic guide.

If you can't promote them at this level then you are either being unlucky, or your coach isn't a high enough level.

Thanks, that should help.

Unfortunately, based on that graphic I reckon I have 1 maybe 2 of my current YPs that are worth keeping only :-(
