One of my juniors has gone from very good to adequate overnight ... sob ...

remember he's not actually got any worse....juniors only ever get better....just the coach's view of him has dropped. The new view may be more accurate...or not....but yeah we never want "plops" :/

thanks, but if he now thinks he's only adequate I doubt he's going to be as good as I first hoped when he reckoned he was very good.

yup, but you never know, he might bounce back next week.

TBH once you start playing them their rankings get more accurate....

my juniors are played 1 won 1 no goals conceeded ... nice :-)

I've had 1 junior match so far and yet are none the wiser as to where my juniors should play in the next match. Is there any ways of telling whether a junior is a defender, midfielder or forward? Thanks

my first 16 yr old has turned up :-)

btw, he is currently "average" with 13 weeks to go. Does that sound promising or is that still pretty poor? thanks.

What I do is try playing the juniors in different positions (att, mid, def orders) and see the results. Where he best performs means his skills in def, mid or att are higher than others.

Thanks, but it's still not that easy to work out imo because unless I'm mistaken players seem to get higher marks just because they are listed as mid?

because mid uses more skills (like tech, playmaking, pass, def) thats the reason... Honestly this way I get a rough idead on their skills before they come out from Academy.

that's what I thought the reason was, but I've just noticed that one of my forwards playing for my main team got 40 and then I played him as a midfielder and he again got a 40! So there's possibly not much difference between forward and midfield then? My defenders always seem to get much less of a rating though.
