Thema: Strange Youth promo

I just contracted a "Very Good" Goalkeeper - indicated as a GK - from my youth team, to find that his skills indicate he's a defender with hopeless goalkeeping skills.
Is this normal or a glitch? telling me I have a GK when he's not is ridiculous.

by any chance is this 'goalkeeper's' best skill pace? if so that might be the reason :)

And why am I only getting one new Junior a week? I set it to have 12 Juniors - its a lot to pay a youth coach when I'm only getting one draft every Saturday.

My "goalkeeper" did have good pace, but that just makes him a good full back, not a good goalkeeper.

You can only get a maximum of 6 per week, so you might want to alter that.

It's totally random, sometimes you get none, sometimes you get 6 for a few weeks running.

Have you assigned a youth coach? I have a vague memory that when I first set up a junior school I didn't bother assigning a coach to it (to save money), and only got 1 junior a week until I put a coach in place.

I have a youth coach; I am paying for 12 places per week plus a youth coach and I have 2 youth in two weeks so far.

if you have 2 youth you make only 8 spaces as you can not get more than 6 in a week. When you have more than 2 than you can increase.

7 seasons and you did not read Rules!!!! So do not be surprised you are still in IV div.
