my last league game i think i did my tatic, without being boastful 'perfect' but i lost 1 nil, im not complaining but was there anything, anyone that has the time to look over my game can see i did wrong.

my stikers had chances, my goaly did have a good game (though i have just splaashed my last remaning money on a new keeper) but what else can i do, or is a 6 point advantage to good to upset?

next week im expecting to lose, but the week after i ideally need a win, and with the money of 2 players im selling, i might have enough for 1 more first teamer, what postion do you think i need improving, to 'win' a game or 2 in the league that im in.

sorry for alot fo questions in one post, but apart from questions/answers in international fourm, i hadn't got a clue where to put this.

6 points is a LOT to overcome, I didn't watch the game, but looking at the report you have 3 defenders with marks in the 30's and he's coming at you with strikers in the mid 50s.

There's only so much you can do with tactics, again just going from the report, it looks like you had the right idea tactically, it looks like you scouted him and knew what was coming, had a deep line and defense by committee, I like that against superior players, but when his attackers are marking 20pts better than your defense it's only a matter of time. You did well to keep the game so close.

If the talent gap is like that for all the clubs in your league then all you can do is be patient, try to steal points when you can by running out a better tactic, and build up your talent base gradually over time.

I assume you're training pace? If you have the money for a player I'd spend it on the best trainee you can afford, preferably a defender that needs pace.

edit: what are you training? If you're training pace you should have all your player under 25-26yrs old, if you're training something else then your position orders are not set right.

im tainign tec, but only 9 players a week. (i know im doing this, as is more profitable for me to stay up, than training one more player.

you should train 10...even if it means changing your strikers orders to midfield in the friendly games. You could even buy a really bad 16y/o and train him to solid or higher tech and usually make a good profit.

on the other question....the 20 point difference between his forwards and your defense is huge. You should be proud of losing only 1-0, it means you did very well tactically . I am the same as you in my league, everyone has better average marks than me, but i manage to get a few results to keep me up (usually i have at best half the amount of shots but don't concede because my keeper is divine) Just keep going with the tactics and training and eventually it will pay off.

i play 442 in league games, and 5 in mid in my freindlies. so i train 9, i have 2 really good stikers, and i dont want to lose a silly game because one choose to pass when in front of goal. i will make alot more on staying up, than i will from training one more player, that i simple carn't aford, as they would need to be amazing, so i don't need 2 strikers.

you could get a decent def mid trainee and play him wide in your defense with mid orders, he couldn't be much worse than Pekaric.

hes my best defender, hes just in tragic form :(

I see, well it's still an option: sell your worst vet defender then buy the best young defender you can get that needs some tech, then play him with mid orders. The only real drawback is that he'll hold the ball longer than you'd want from time to time but if you are sharp tactically you can get away with it, esp if he has decent playmaking.
