Another question, sorry guys. In my youth school I currently have around 12 players i think. If a player is staying at the same level each week or up and down but generally staying at the same level, how many weeks should I keep him for before giving up on him?

5 i would say

depends on starting level of the player and there age. young players don't need to be talented in getting cash. i sold a 16 year old last season for 260k, and he stayed the same level (good) in my youth school for 8 weeks. ;) however if they are low starting lvl or 18, or late in season 17, i would be quick to sack them.

Age is a massive factor, keep the ones that are coming in aged 16 (unless they are really low skilled), steelers has a more detailed good rule of thumb for this...

But really you need something like 10 weeks before you can get an idea on talent. There are too many variables now, the start and end skill are all estimates so there is no way of determing talent to the nearest 1.0~ imo.

id also like to ask if players can still gain skill after they are ready to join your squad i had a player on solid and then droped when i was able to sign him to a contract

He wont go up in school but your coaches estimation can change still.
