JuicyBeef [del] an Alle
Just thought i would get peoples veiws on this topic. basically I am in league IV and have a good chance of promotion this year, I have a few really good players that could be worth selling to get the money but i am thinking isit better off keeping them to get promoted.

The way i look at it is.. When i am promoted i will be able to afford better coaches and buy better talent so may aswell wait until i train players to sell them. Has anyone done it this way? My fan base is nearly at a 1000 and i have upgraded my stadium a small amount, any advice?

Cheers

Can we take a look at the players that you are talking about in particular?

If they are good young players and you can encompass them in training then i would say keep them.

I believe i made the right decision in keeping most of my youngsters particularly from my school for long periods. They would have sold for less than £100k if sold early but i ended selling them for millions later on.

yeh that may be what i am talking about, well i am training my defenders more than anyone else. I spent the last season training tech which now most trainees are at least very good. I will now be training pace for this season as most of them are average. i still need to train def aswell as they are mostly average but all are fairly talented. Some of the most promising players are..

Fırat Önal , age 22
value: 185 550 £
wage: 1 935 £
magical form
bookings:

very good stamina hopeless keeper
outstanding pace unsatisfactory defender
very good technique unsatisfactory playmaker
formidable passing adequate striker

Hieronim Pazdan , age 19
value: 52 200 £
wage: 615 £
incredible form

average stamina tragic keeper
tragic pace adequate defender
very good technique adequate playmaker
good passing weak striker

Max Siminică , age 20
value: 45 450 £
wage: 690 £
adequate form

unsatisfactory stamina tragic keeper
average pace adequate defender
solid technique unsatisfactory playmaker
solid passing weak striker

Rudolf Staniec , age 24
value: 132 450 £
wage: 1 260 £
unearthly form
bookings:
good stamina tragic keeper
good pace very good defender
excellent technique solid playmaker
very good passing good striker

Maurão Tristão , age 19
value: 34 800 £
wage: 585 £
adequate form

hopeless stamina tragic keeper
adequate pace solid defender
adequate technique hopeless playmaker
hopeless passing good striker

Kázmér Szrnka , age 18
value: 26 250 £
wage: 420 £

Fırat Önal , age 22: £200k-£250k, doesn't really have a position as his right side is too weak and he is too old to really improve enough to enhance his value or his productivity as a player. I'd sell him.

Hieronim Pazdan , age 19: a nicely rounded pace trainee but he needs 2 seasons of pace immediately or he's wasted as a player. At the moment not worth more than £50k, keep.

Max Siminică , age 20: another sort of DEF/MID trainee in desperate need of immediate pace training. Probably worth about £50k again.

Rudolf Staniec , age 24: £200k-£400k, a nice rounded player and useful to have in IV. Keep?

Maurão Tristão , age 19: more of a striker trainee in desperate need of mainly pace but technique too. Worth less than £50k probably.

Kázmér Szrnka , age 18: rounded sort of DEF/MID again. Low-skilled but young enough to improve. More of a trainee IV player than a first teamer. Won't sell for much at all.

Not as promising as i'd hoped some of these players! :) and not all of them are going to benefit from defender training. Make a few adjustments and go for a season of pace and see where that leaves you.

Yeh it has taken me a couple of weeks to find a pace coach but luckily found one today! so i will get it poppin for next week. Cheers for the advice will come in very usefull! =)

Also i have thought over and over whether or not to sell Onal, I was thinkin of training playmaking then he would be a decent winger but thats not an option as i need to train pace like you say. But he helps alot in the games i play and gets a good rating i think i will keep him to help me get into III =)
