Thema: Tech and Pace

Just a quick question..

I have a player with outstanding pace but only weak tech, will this affect his ability to run at full pace with the ball? Looking back through the last game he seemed far quicker chasing the ball than actually running with it?

From the rules:
- pace of dribbling; players with poor technical skills significantly lose pace whilst moving with the ball
