maybe

depends what you want from training
2010-07-08 20:16:02
ok, thanks. i think i'm gonna be training Goal keepers, and their pace and staminas.
2010-07-08 20:18:03
what would you estimate is this guys talent if it took seven weeks to get his stamina from weak to formidable, with a weak coach of incredible stamina.

Stamina increases aren't affected by player talent or age. It's the same for everybody. The coach's level does matter though.

oh, i didnt know that. thanks

what happens if you have a junior, but no junior coach?

nothing

I have dedicated my training on keepers for 2 seasons... the 1st team generally has suffered, but I was fortunate to have a very talented junior keeper who is now divine keeper....during the training I also managed to sell a couple of other keepers to keep me going financially,as keeper coaches are expensive!! it is a very good money making scheme, but be prepared to have a crap outfield for a while! If you decide on doing so and have a bit of cash, let me know....I have a sub keeper who is a 3wk talent, but is now wasted a bit cos im training pace - a perfect trainee for anyone training keep!

This is a keeper i just got from the junior school. I dont know what is value is or whether its worth selling him now or not as i dont want to train keepers. I am however currently training pace so i dont know if i should train him on that for abit to try and get a few pops now, but i get the feeling that he will be worth more when he is 17 compared to 18?

Any advice please =)

very good form

hopeless stamina adequate keeper
adequate pace hopeless defender
hopeless technique tragic playmaker
average passing tragic striker

its the end of the season, and i personally don't think he'd go for that much....to go for any kind of money he needs better keeper. price at 17 and price at 18 after a couple of pace pops would be around the same, so it wont make 2 much difference.

if it were me and i was training keep again (unless your guy is super talented) I would buy two 16/17/18/19 year old with at least solid keep and hope they are talented. If you do find one who is talented, keep training him for as long as you can (till divine if possible) while training sub keepers for a couple of pops and then selling on to stay afloat! also, try to make them English!! lol

good luck!

hi, can i ask for a bit of advise please?

my qualification match is against a team, whom i dont think i can even beat. but, if theres the slightest chance that i can go through to III, would you advice that i should go to III now, or (soon), or should i stay in IV, to build up my team, etc?
2010-07-14 23:44:01
I'd say go for it now.

Build your team up in III with more sponsorship money, and more fans (initailly anyway). You might lose and go back down, but the extra money plus the tactical experience you'll gain should make it worthwhile.

Besides, there's no guarantee you'll get another opportunity.

Does a freekick have a higher conversion rate than a normal shot?

In my last match, both mids got 2 free kicks each.
Mine had solid striker, converted both.
His had good striker, hitting the post once and scoring the other.

Or is it just coincidence?
2010-07-16 20:56:45
Coincidence imo, most free kicks I see hit the clouds before the goal. ;)

Here's a scenario. player 9 and player 6 are both start a match. I put a match order that says for position 9, red card or no player, player 6 on position 9.

so player 9 gets injured during the match. will player 6 replace him, then a sub replace player 6, or will a sub just replace player 9?

very confusing i know with all the player 9 player 6... tell me if more clarification is required.

Sub replaces player 9, unless you've used all your subs in which case 6 moves to 9.

I think.
