cooly [del] an Alle
Hey all, im struggling financialy now so am looking to sell on a few of my better players. What would i likely recieve for the below player? Or is it worth hanging on to him a bit longer as im training defence. Cheers

Paweł Praszelik , age 22
value: 173 700 £
wage: 1 530 £
unearthly form
bookings:
poor stamina tragic keeper
incredible pace excellent defender
adequate technique poor playmaker
adequate passing average striker

And a second quick question. If my coach is formidable does that mean my youngsters wont go above the formiddable level whilst in the training school?
2010-06-10 23:52:25
Nope to the coach question but they are not as likely to reach higher levels.
2010-06-10 23:53:25
Can you wait till the end of season bonus or do you need cash sooner?
2010-06-10 23:58:06
Im £110k in debit and losing around £15-£20k a week on average.
2010-06-11 00:03:48
Well my advice would be to hang on to him training defense at coach defense unearthly level till start of the silly season week 0 or preferably week1. Would that give him 1 or 2 more levels of defending?
2010-06-11 00:05:46
ok ill try and hang on to him, thank you. Out of interest what do you think his going price would be currently?
2010-06-11 00:06:18
Also if your coach is unearthly in tech too you could go for 1 more level of defense and see if you can get an etra level in tech?!

Kai Holland, age: 55
wage: 10 275 £
club: yorkcitynil, country: England
formidable coach

Training effectiveness:
unsatisfactory of stamina solid of keeper
brilliant of pace unearthly of defender
very good of technique very good of playmaker
magical of passing brilliant of striker

This is my main coach. i have 3 assistants that rank at roughly very good to excellent level. My youth coach is formidable

Carry on with defence and see if you can get two more levels of defence before silly season.

Now that debt what is it per a fortnight with a home match, an away match and two away friendlies at bigger happy clubs?

2 observations:

imo you're unlikely to get a 2 level rise in defender by silly season, unless he is already part trained to formidable?
5 match weeks of this season left + 2 spare weeks - he'd have to be a talented 22yo to pop 3,4, so realistically that's 1 level only to formidable.

I think you're wasting money on your HC given your finances, and especially if you train defenders? Ideally you'd want a HC with unearthly defender/pace, but realistically maybe just defender and keeper skill as low as possible to minimise the wage.

As an example the guy below is on the coaches TL - he ain't perfect, but he'd save you 5k per week until the end of the season, so even if you paid 10k to get him...

Kazimierz Domber , age 49
good coach
wage: 5 685 £

Current bid: 2 550 £
end of bidding: 2010-06-11 12:08

poor of stamina, weak of keeping
incredible of pace, unearthly of defending
excellent of technique, formidable of playmaking
hopeless of passing, tragic of striker

Having said this, it's only when you hit 300k in debt that you're truly in the shit. So you could just keep racking up the debt until the bonus payment comes through. But really you need to sort your finances so you loss is around 20k max over a 2 week period (if you're still in IV next season).

As to his value... as a 23yo Incredible Pace/Formidable Def between 300k-500k in silly season.

Good luck sorting it whatever you decide to do.

Ill have a think about it. Thank you very much for your time guys

Steelers has some good advice there and if the purse is very poor thats the thing to do but reducing the quality of the coachig staff is not a great long term way to improve the team. You could be in div 3 next season too which will have an effect. The coach could be better though no denying it.

Whats the split over the 14 days first. Also I did assume he was part trained to level 11 is that correct?

Ive just done my maths and on my home game ill lose 5k (including playing away to a decent side midweek). On my away week I lose just over 20k.

How do u mean part trained? Sorry im still quite new.

I bought this guy in my 1st season 4 seasons ago. Ive only just sussed the training out this season properly so its my 1st season training defenders. I would guess he has popped 2-3 times in the 4 seasons but I havent trained defence before.
2010-06-11 01:36:59
'part trained' just means you've already trained him a number of weeks in defending without him popping.

E.g. if you see a transfer advert for a player and it says Outstanding+2 Pace, the seller means the player has had 2 weeks Pace training since he popped to Outstanding - so is 2 weeks towards Incredible already.

On the finances it souns like you'll lose 50-70k more, remember the interest charge starts to ramp up (4.5% of your outstanding debt each week).

Your end of season bonus is based on the calculation below

Bonus = (1.5 x your weekly sponsorship payment) + (75 x no. of supporters in fan club)

Assuming you're still gaining suppporters each week, you can do an approximation for week 15, to see if the bonus would clear about 180k of debt.

It looks like you will promote too. I would look for a coach with Unearthly pace and defending in order to help with your defender training. You could get one for the money you are currently spending or there about if you are lucky.
