I have two assistant coaches:

Konrad Spamewski, age: 67
wage: 1 155 £
club: Skylarks F.C, country: Polska
good coach

Training effectiveness:
adequate of stamina adequate of keeper
solid of pace good of defender
good of technique good of playmaker
solid of passing adequate of striker

Tymoteusz Zamojski, age: 44
wage: 1 395 £
club: Skylarks F.C, country: Polska
good coach

Training effectiveness:
adequate of stamina good of keeper
adequate of pace good of defender
unsatisfactory of technique excellent of playmaker
solid of passing very good of striker

My question is, am I just wasting 2.5k a week? Are these guys good enough to have an effect, and if so, how big an effect?

There wges are reasonable for good coaches.. and indeed they do help in giving you random pops. My experience from my time in DIV IV

They're good enough for where you are. Instead of getting next to no random pops at all with no assistants, you get some. So it's worthwhile until you can upgrade. I'd still have 3 though.

is he to improve your coaching or to reduce staff wages?
2010-05-16 16:24:44
To imrpove.. is he worth the transfer price Vanc?
2010-05-16 16:27:57
will 325k be too much Vancian?
2010-05-16 16:38:26
two questions.

1. Can you afford his wages over a 2 week cycle?
2. Are your trainees good enough to warrant spending that amount on a coach?
2010-05-16 16:42:02
Thanks for the prompt answers... :)

1. Yes
2. My trainees are mostly under 22.. don't know if that makes them worth?
2010-05-16 16:47:47
Not so much age, more skill levels and distribution.

I don't know what you train, but do you have players that will benefit from pops in all the skills?

E.g. Getting a random striker pop from weak to average or similar doesn't improve a trainee's resale value or help you team, but if you've got players in all positions who'll benefit then maybe it's worth it.

Just remember the 350k transfer fee + the saved coach wages could buy you 1 or 2 pretty decent trainees, who you'll potentially be able to sell at profit...

Yes I do have a lot of players who can benefit from random .. And you are right about buying trainees.. I am hoping to get some from my Junior school this season.. :)

So WITH all these factors is the price normal or overpriced?
2010-05-16 17:07:25
The price is ok. The alternative is to gamble and try coach select 15 times and hope for a bit of luck!

btw - I think that coach will end up going for a bit more money than he is now.
2010-05-16 17:26:09
Sadly I can't gamble due to my luck.. :(

If his price goes up what would you consider the ceiling price for him before I end up overpaying?

Can someone PLEASE tell me whether 550,000 is overpaying for this coach????
