Thema: Form

Yeah the guy I was talking about is a trainee, I didn't use any winger tactics in my league games until recently and didn't feel like designing one for friendlies just for him, too lazy.

It's something else to try, probably lots of things affect form.

my starting 11 all seem to have hit unearthly-superdivine form, am i really a great man manager?

Ive never had a problem with form until now... So with this problem being new to me, I am unaware if there is a soltion... Anyone discovered one yet?

There's a few theories about form, but none are conclusive.

The main thinking is that it's completely random. But there's enough to suggest that there is at least some rule that defines it, whether we can control it or not as form tends to stay mainly in either the very high or low areas with very few players staying around a very good or excellent for a prolonged period of time.

Some theories include players needing a week off if they go into bad form, others suggest that they need to be played in a specific role to gain form, I suggested at one point that it's almost like having extra levels past tragic/super divine which explains why some players stay in those levels for so long, ncn also suggested that the whole game is based around the devs obsession with pi.

There's no solution to poor form though.

Keep subbing the poor form player - give him 60-70 mins in one match and a few more in the other. Do this for several weeks and I find they don't stick to tragic so badly

Thanks for the input guys

With my player, it is vital that he keeps in good form... He is my key player... e_cartman might be aware of him, as he almost singlehandedly caused an upset against The Wolves FC last week!...

thing is... he was always divine/superdivine, for like 2 seasons on the trot... now hes suddenly fallen... I am wondering if it is either 1) the new II division is a much tougher, more competitive league or 2) because of my tragic financial decision making, I had to sell my entire reserve team, meaning he plays twice a week...

No 2 .. I would bet on Playing twice a week.

I would bet on - normal form behaviour

I sold both my strikers at the end of last season as both had tragic form. I brought in 2 new guys, 1 with brilliant form and the other with unearthly form. In 3 weeks one has poor form and the other has tragic form. They really dont like me
2011-03-24 19:57:01
Do you play them twice a week?
2011-03-24 20:58:01
No just once a week
2011-03-25 15:03:47
Im going to try subbing them both with 20min to go. Also swapping them over from 10 to 11 and vice versa
2011-03-25 18:26:49
that's often worked for me.

i have found you have to take each cas eof poor form individually as some players rise with 2 games a week and some you have to rest i had aguy in tragic form for over 3 seasons but i was playing him twice a week as soon as he played only one game his form rose every week iive had others that played once per week that dropped and as soon as i played them twice their form went up
