Silly season is the 2 weeks (week 0 and week 1) at the start of each season when bonus payments have just been made to all the teams in Sokker.
Because lots of managers suddenly have a bit of cash, the transfer market goes mental as most users blow the extra money over-paying for players - hence silly season.
So generally a good time to sell players!
