The front 6 (Rice, Bellingham, Foden, Saka, Gordon, Kane) of England are ridiculous. It's the defence and manager that's the problem.

I'm still annoyed with how bad Palmer was against Iceland. Either stay in your position or get off the pitch.
I think he Will start taa and Rice behind bellingham, foden left, kane front.... but its probably going to be saka right, Even I favour Palmer....

Foden on the left is such a waste, especially when Gordon has been great.
I don't think Southgate trusts Trent enough to start him in midfield, especially when doing so means Bellingham has to move up and Foden out wide. I love Saka but his form hasn't been great, he's looked tired for some time. I'd take him on the right over Palmer though, hell I'd take Bowen over Palmer.

Well.... there Are lots of possible lineups for mid+att... I dont think you and I agree...

The reason though i think trent should start, is trent+bellingham+Rice will win more defensive duels then playing only bellingham and Rice and then fireworks for the rest.... trent has proven good always in pressing and winning high up pitch balls... its his terrible man marking only when playing rb that caused him all the defensive hardship in past
Yeah well rather that then foden amc in a 4-5-1.... but I prefer trent, hes got ten times the experience and passing play
