Hi everyone,

I have been training young players for some time. Generally, I trained defenders. However, I see that if I potentially sell my players that I trained now for 2-3 seasons, I will not earn much money.

Which position are you training? And which position is more beneficial you think?

Another question is that which age interval mostly are you training? Are you training 16-17 age youngsters who doesn't have high skills or buy 20-21 age players and sell when they are 24-25?

Cheers,
Cem

Hi,

Position doesn't really mather. You can make good money out of defenders, midfielders, strikers. Only position I wouldn't recommend are goalkeepers as prices for those crashed pretty hard.
You need to have good coaching staff. If you train defenders (min. unearthly defender, pace ; playmaker, tech, passing min [11]), midfielders (unearthly defender, pace, playmaker, passing, tech); striker (unearthly pace, tech, striker ; min. [12] defender;). So cheapest entry level would be training defender and this is what I would recommend.
3x assistants minimum level [10].
And while you are earning money you can look for better trainers and swap them with time.

I would recommend buying 16-18 yo players.

With low budget try finding e.g. best defenders for under 50k €. Link above is 16 yo defenders (ss defender min.11) sorted by cheapest. Kubiński, Ciborowski were perfect players to pick up for cheap.

Also start using https://raqueto.com/sokker/asistente to follow talent of your players. A proven, good talent can make a huge difference in price.

Thanks a lot @The_Ripper . The website is very usefull to follow the prices and also to invest.

And, thanks for the ideas! I have recently sold a nice defender that I was training for 3 seasons and it now gives me something to invest for young players. Unfortunately I was training two goalkeepers for 3 seasons, I think I also need to continue with them at least 1 year more so that they have magical [15] goalkeeping skills.

Other than that, I plan to switch to strikers and get a magical head trainer. I had only 1 assistant trainer, now I will increase that to 3. Thanks for the feedback!

Any more ideas? Or what do you do for yourself guys?
