A summary of the ongoing U21 World Cup:
Cuba U21
1)How would you rate the play of your national team at the world cup, what are you not satisfied with and what do you like about the play of your national team.
1 - Cuba U21 has a different generation than previous ones, 50% of the players are in teams of Cuban users that we have been working on for a long time in our team, we cannot say that we have quantity, but we do have quality (perhaps that is why the injuries derive a lot from us)
Our game is generally defensive, we try to attack effectively, what I like the most is the midfield, what bothers me the most is the irregularity of our game despite almost always playing with the same tactics.
2) Name the national teams that positively surprised you at the World Cup and why. (minimum 2 teams)
2 - Of course Lietuva U21, from my group, apparently we were the weakest and we were at the top of the table, Lietuva U21 only drew one game against us, undefeated, only conceded one goal scored by our team.
Secondly, it could not be other than Peru U21, who in a very very difficult group against Germany U21 and Turkey U21 to order.
Hayastan, who managed to sneak into the next phase thanks to a great job from his DT
Finally I want to mention Bosnia Herzegovina U21 who qualified in a very tough group
3) What, in your opinion, were the unfortunate disappointments of the World Cup and why? (minimum 2 teams)
3 - The unlucky ones for me, Soumi U21 with 3 draws, Turkey U21 and Germany U21 I think they had a team for more!
4) At what level do you think the U21 World Cup is?
4 - The World Cup is playing very hard, perhaps with the departure of great teams (Germany, Turkey, Soumi, Magyarország, Bulgaria) the level is not the highest, but it will be interesting and very entertaining!
5) Name 4 matches from the World Cup that you think were the biggest sensations of the tournament.
5 - The surprises, Peru vs Turkey, Hayastan vs Spain, Czech Republic vs Srbija and of course our debut: Cuba vs Magyarország
6) We have reached the final and with a few games behind us, can you name 3 teams that will make the U21 World Cup podium?

My group is quite difficult due to my current selection not being very strong. For sure the favorites are Italy and France, but we have conditions to surprise them. I think with the decrease of 3 weeks per training season, due to the low skill levels the players are more unpredictable. Whoever knows how to work this will have an advantage.

The traditional four that are always favorites

1- Results was not good enough... You can see by stats that our team was the worst in our group, but we made really good game. First game red card change our tactical decisions, before it our opponent has 0 shots. Also our strikers cant find the net... Second game - good first half, we dominated, but my tactical mistake cost points. We won third game, but was too late to qualify.

Kaloyan it's a shame that your team has to go home so soon. In my opinion, you lacked luck, which is very much needed at the World Cup.

2) For me, our group is the strongest... For Cuba and Hungary maybe really easy group... :)))) In our group we are outsiders... Last seasons part of our top managers left the game and this reflect to our national teams, now for u21, after few seasons also for senior team. However, we have really active maximum 15-20 managers. Cuba and Hungary are favorites. They have strong and balanced teams. Lietuva have really strong defense and can surprise everyone in our group. Despite all of this i want to beat all of them and win our group. I hope we will make great matches and better team will win.
But sensationally Hungary U21 did not advance, you mentioned Lithuania U21, they advanced, they are great in the defensive line.

On the other hand, injury of our best attacker in the qualification round and low form of 4 key players stop us of being at 100%

2- a lot of teams are doing a great job But I will say Peru, lietuva, and Hayastan

1- In general we made a good World Cup group but they suffered a lot, we paid dearly against Romania, which we lost by 4 goals, then against Ireland it was a very difficult and close game. and finally Portugal with its mega star goalkeeper taking everything out.
2) Name the national teams that positively surprised you at the World Cup and why. (minimum 2 teams)
2- It makes me very happy that both Peru and Colombia qualified, it is always good to see the South American teams participate in a World Cup.
3) What, in your opinion, were the unfortunate disappointments of the World Cup and why? (minimum 2 teams)
3- I do not consider any team a disappointment since at these levels it is very likely that some bumps will happen, the example of Poland with the closed goal, that is the beauty of the u21.
4) At what level do you think the U21 World Cup is?
4- It is very even and interesting. We are going to see in the round of 16 how it is defined and what crosses remain. Nice matches are coming and very even.

1- I think Schweiz U21 played three good games, finished with three wins (one of which was lucky). Overall, I am satisfied, the results were beyond expectations.

2- I said about Lietuva U21, this team will be the big surprise of tournament. Second, Peru U21 and Armenia U21.

1- I think Schweiz U21 played three good games, finished with three wins (one of which was lucky). Overall, I am satisfied, the results were beyond expectations.

1- Hi there!
Our team did what noone would have predicted, but I secretly hoped for. 1st place in this group is tremendous. We let in only 1 goal within 3 matches, this is excellent result for us. I can't tell what I don't like, because this can give advantage for the opponent:))
Maybe I can add some very important insights after the tournament if anyone will be interested.

2- First of all - Peru. This is just amazing that they beat out from that group!
Secondly, Schweiz. I didn't expect them to be unbeaten after group stage.
Both teams have amazing managers, who did huge job.

1 - Deutchland, this was a very bad tournament for them.
2 - Polska - they are leaders every World cup and only one goal within 3 games is very bad result. A miracle that with this result they are first in group.

1- I think we surprise everybody (including ourselves) with the Qualification. I rate our play with a 7/10.
We like to play Aggressively but all of the Rivals have been good enough so we had to play Defensively. Let´s see what the Draw gives us for next Round.

2- Colombia, I think nobody would have bet for them against the other Teams we had.
Lietuva, who ended 1st Place in their Group.
Hayastan, who has a very good Coach.
Bosna i Hercegovina, who manage to Qualify in a very tough Group.
3) What, in your opinion, were the unfortunate disappointments of the World Cup and why? (minimum 2 teams)
3- Honestly I thought Deutschland and Turkey were the ones to Qualify, so they must be very dissapointed. Suomi also may not be feeling so good with those 3 draws.

4- Training changes are starting to being noticed. I think that will bring more importance to Tactics.
