Two VERY different Semifinals.

Germany and Brazil, with backward defenses, no game in the midfield and fast transitions. Back and forth match.

Greece and Hungary with defenses pressing up, reducing spaces, playing off side, a very tight match, a lot of time stopped.

Of the semi-finalists, Greece seemed to put things the best and have a great team. Their midfielders did not give the Hungarian midfielders a chance.

1 . Tolis Greece is in the World Cup final, did you expect that?
1.> I was preparing and playing with this team the previous season,we play many difficult games
and i see that the team having a lot of potential.
And yes i start to believe we can run succesful this cup,to win the cup ofc is another story,
many knock out matches ..but yes i believe it and i told at the first review.
I was giving Hellas the first option to win it ))

2 . Tell us what you paid attention to and what you worked on extremely hard, what is your success at the World Cup?
2.>We had a lot of bad forms players, and I worked on that a lot.
I've tried several substitutes, to see how I can fill the gaps. I was surprised to see that the gaps are covered by just trying players in different positions, and looking carefully at what their positions are. I think that's my greatest success.

3. How do you rate the World Cup now, who disappointed and who surprised on the plus side?
3.>I'm not disappointed with anyone,every team running the WC as they can.
Succes or not,i can't judge.
The surprise ofc are Germany and (not for me) Hellas to the final!
Its first time for Hellas,we dont have medals,and now we got a good one))

4. How do you rate this topic on the forum I created, would you like me to lead one in the future?
4.>Keep up the good work.The WC deserve his topik,Woody in the past and

5 . What will you tell us before the final match, how do you present your chance and how do you assess the German national team and the manager of the osci_oscbourne?
5.>Germany is always a good team,they doing a lot of work there with the National players,
and they have a good coach.
.50-50 are the chances i suppose for both.
We will try to defeat our last opponet and win the cup

6 . Can you tell us what you think about the Polish national team, which has a wide squad of very good players but still lacks success, why?
6.>I wish i could try to run a WC with Poland as my National team,only then i can answer this question.

7. Do you still want to lead Greece next season, or do you choose a different direction?
7.>No,my National team is in a great condition,i finish my job.
My next stop is another favorite NT,Suomi.

1 . osci_oscbourne Deutschland is in the World Cup final, did you expect that?
No, of course I didn't expect that because we don't have the best team in the world overall, nor do we have the best individual players. But I think it's fair to say that we've made the most of our opportunities so far.

2 . Tell us what you paid attention to and what you worked on extremely hard, what is your success at the World Cup?[/img]
Above all, I always tried to avoid the Poles, because of course this team is very difficult to beat. With all the other teams, I imagined that we would be able to keep up. I think that worked out pretty well. Apart from that, I think I made some good decisions at the right moment. Finally we have the chance to get the gold medal.. this one is still missing in our collection.

3. How do you rate the World Cup now, who disappointed and who surprised on the plus side?
As mentioned earlier, I was pretty sure that Hungary would play a good role at this World Cup. To be honest, I would have expected them in the final. The teams that could/should have achieved more probably know that it wasn´t enough. Whether they also deal with the reasons why that was the case is of course not my task.

4. How do you rate this topic on the forum I created, would you like me to lead one in the future?
Oh, I really love what you´re doing and I hope you keep it up. Everyone who does something for the community should be commended.

5 . What will you tell us before the final match, how do you present your chance and how do you rate the Greek national team and the Manager of Tolis?
As mentioned above we were the underdogs in a couple of matches, especially during the "Copa America" in the last few weeks. Maybe some of´em are now wondering why they lost to us and maybe the Greeks will be wondering the same in a few days. Of course many people try to explain all this with good and bad luck reflexively, but I´m pretty sure this depends on many other reasons. Finally we´re happy with being underdog again, this role suits us best and I already can feel the fear in Greece ;)

6 . Can you tell us what you think about the Polish national team, which has a wide squad of very good players but still lacks success, why?
If you have the best team by far you will of course win most of the games and you will always be the favorit. Especially if you aren´t really afraid of injuries, suspended players, poor form aso because you can adequately replace each one 10 times. Nevertheless it isn´t a sure-fire success and of course it would be pretty boring if it was always like that. But there are reasons for this as well...but it is not my job to explain other NTs what they might do wrong :) But it would be for sure too easy to blame this on ME only and everytime.

7. Do you still want to lead Germany next season or do you choose a different direction?
I will never take care of any other country than germany. Of course I love my job at the german NT and invest a lot of time in it. I think I would miss it very much but we'll see what happens.

1. Barros How would you rate the performance of the Brazilian team at the World Cup?
1) I'm experiencing strange sensations, by now I am of a certain age and therefore I am able to accept disappointments better. But the bronze achieved this year with Brazil burns me more than the silver of the last edition with Estonia...

2. in your opinion, why did you lose in the semifinals what would you change if you could replay that match?
2) there are some tactical particulars that i could have done better ...but we shot 22 times and we hit 2 or 3 crossbars, so i don't know if i have to think about tactics. I think the difference was made by the incisiveness of the strikers and the strength of the goalkeepers

3. are you already planning your future with the national team? Will you stay and continue working for Brazil, or would you like to work elsewhere?
3) for me it would be an honor to be able to continue with Brazil but I haven't talked to the community about it yet. For sure, I am very respectful and especially when you are in foreign community, I don't want to take away space if there is some strong local user that he want to propose for the bench

4. how would you rate my work on the international forum about the World Cup, is it a good idea? should I continue with such work?
4) your work is special, this thread deserves more participation and it would also be nice to talk about tactics and not just about cheering, but it's not simple in international

5. How do you evaluate the pairs of the World Cup finals, who do you think will be the World Cup, how do you evaluate the managers of the national teams Germany and Greece?
5) nice and balanced final, i bet on Greece but 55\45

7) I gave my best, in these two seasons we only lost a friendly and an official match, the semifinal of the world championship. unfortunately in football you cannot always win but I am sure that Brazil is able to fight for the medal in every competition in which it participates. And this is already a good reason to restart stronger than before

Crisr, you've only been in charge of Hungary for one season, and you've already eliminated Poland from the World Cup semifinals and played in the World Cup semifinals. This is in my opinion a great result, and excellent work done.
How do you evaluate the performance of Hungarians at the World Cup, and your work?
1. I'm disappointed. For me, this is not a satisfactory result.

2. in your opinion, why did you lose in the semifinals what would you change if you could replay that match?
2. I don't know if I could have changed anything. I didn't want to play like that. I had 2 other tactics for this game, but I didn't have the right players. I lost all ten helpers. Pál Dvorschák has Brilliant (14) passes, and Gusztáv Bohus has Formidable (11) passes. I knew that if the first tactic didn't work, the second would only need a miracle. Unfortunately, there was no miracle...

3. Are you already planning your future with the national team? Will you stay and continue working in Hungary or would you like to work somewhere else?
3. It's too early for me to talk about it.

4. how would you rate my work on the international forum about the World Cup, is it a good idea? should I continue with such work?
4. Great idea. Of course to continue.
