To be fair the first condition is 'losing'. If that condition is not met then the substitution shouldn't happen regardless of what comes afterwards (at most/at least x goals). This is a bug or bad translation.
Exactly. There's 2 parts to that condition, you can argue that the 2nd part was met (though I'd call it nonsense) but the first part absolutely was not. The 2 conditions weren't met and the subs should not have happened.
Do anyone have a rough estimate for youth training ratios between levels. For example
If an Unearthly coach has a player with a talent of 3 exactly, would a Magical coach drag him down to 3.1 etc?

It should be something like:
unearthly 3,0
magical 3,2
brilliant 3,4
incredible 3,6
and so on
I remember this from old sokker days when junior level was not an estimate but always true level.
Note that coaches have subskill too. So a high wage magical coach (e.g. 15,8) will be better than a low wage magical coach (e.g. 15,1).

So in theory it should be impossible for a Brilliant coach to do any better than a 3.4?

Camus
Yes. But like I said it's only an estimation and it's only something I remember from 10+ years ago.
Max coach level is 16,2:, so it could be like this if we assume it's linear:
16,2 - 3,0 max
15,2 - 3,2 max
14,2 - 3,4 max

I have a Brilliant youth coach and currently have 2 players coming in at 3.13 talent. It's still early days so that could drop, but them both being at the same level would suggest that's the peak for Brilliant.
One week with -1/-2 and that evaluation will drop, back in the old days there was no evaluation so the talent was 100% clear
For example now in rare cases the talent gets evaluated as lower than 3.0, while that is impossible

does it mean he is talented? he was fresh youth i bought him but dont have slot in advanced training, thats why he get 98% formation training on striker
It means nothing, only second pop in a skill shows +/- the talent
okey :D i will wait for jump from 4 to 5 striker also with formation to test him and these formation trainings :D

He is worth almost nothing now. Without advanced training he won’t ever reach decent value. He will probably need ~5 formations trainings for his next pop so almost half a season. And that is with decent talent
