Dont get stuck on the fan club issue...that's not how you make money in the club....
I don't even care how much fans I have, you get money from tickets and players...
2024-04-14 10:27:52
Tickets money is directly connected with the fan club size, so your advice makes no sense
2024-04-14 10:46:51
Fan club size contributes towards attendances (eg ticket revenue) as well as sponsorship.2 of the 3 biggest revenue sources (the other being transfer income which fan club size has no impact on). What a horrible piece of advice to give.

Certainly as a newcomer you have to take as much income as you possibly can, or there won't be any progression! If the fanclub size don't grow beyond 200 players then I think Sokker has a huge problem! If this is not sorted out the game won't ever grow either! Players who return to the game are in fact the best advertisement you can have, but it requires them to not instant regret their return! These changes, like so many, are only made to counter the progress of older clubs, but they should not touch that part since it will affect small clubs much more! Think of it as a tax system where you make teams pay a certain % of their income. However...in the end the small clubs give away while not receiving enough. But they have no leverage to counter the problem. Their players are worthless, their stadium is too small to cover wages of better players and coaches and each expantion will cost too much to make.

The devs, once more, need to focus on improving new manager growth! They should work with the philosophy of: Easy to play, hard to master! Leave managers who are playing for 10-15+ years alone! They should be rewarded for their loyalty to the game, not punished!

I've asked before and never got a clear answer.

Assistant Coaches.
What is their function?
Do they boost general training independently?
Are they just a multiplier of the head coach skills?
Do they affect main training?
Is 1 Magical equal to 3 Average

The function of assistant coaches is stated quite clearly in the rules. They increase the training output according to their general appraisal, and this applies to both normal and general training.

However, I doubt anyone knows exactly how much they affect the training.

We have a very different definition of what "Clearly" means.
2024-04-14 23:17:40
True as that may be, in my opinion the following two passages seem rather plain:

From advanced training: The real increase in a players skills depends on the coaching staff, with the value of the coached skill with the head coach having the greatest influence, followed by the sum of the overall level of the assistant coaches.

From general training: The assistants may be helpful to the main coach improving his training effectiveness - the better the assistant (in terms of general appraisal); the more he helps the main coach.

So yeah, from this information their function is clear to me. They also influence the training of team-work, by the way.

No it's not clear... You said it yourself. We don't know how much their part is within the game. Nobody has any idea what the difference is between 3 ewcellent assistants and 3 magical. Is it significant enough to invest in?
If they would have hinted something, like f.e....Assistant coaching is equal to 1/4th of the training and the amount of that fourth is determined by the level of your assistants general coaching skills. The higher, the bigger their part, being no assistant equals 0% of a possible 25% and 3x unearthly assistants equals 25% training...
Something like that would be enough. Now you know as much as the fly in your soup... It sucks...
2024-04-15 19:12:11
Coaches, don't rely on the assistant's skill, but on the sum of his skills.

If he looks like this:
[16] - [11]
[15] - [14]
[15] - [16]
[16] - [16]

He has 119/136 possible skills. His effectiveness is therefore 87,5%.
If you have 1 magical assistan you have 119/408 possible skills, and therefore it is 29,16%
2024-04-15 19:25:24
If that is the case then all official rules are false! They obviously states that ONLY the general skill matters for assistants. Also...here we go again! The most stupid invention of the devs...training INTENSITY...obviously completely different from training effectivity!
2024-04-15 19:27:26
Unless the rules have been rewritten that's not correct. I remember very specifically reading that only the general appraisal of assistants matter.

followed by the sum of the overall level of the assistant coaches.

OK I think this bit is new. That suggests to me that 3 Average actually does equal 1 Magical (both totalling 15)
