Well that buggers up everything ;)
I was given some data earlier that I was asked not to share, so I won't, but I found it questionable anyway because of it's inconsistency. I think the weighted stamina issue complicates things, but with enough data it should be possible to get a consistent graph that looks something like this.

What I'm far from convinced about here is the maximum level being 18.52 but that's how the current talent assumption works out at. 7.2+ (34 weeks x .33 =11.22 ) for a total of 18.4 (accounting for decimals).

EDIT
For some reason my brain is saying the max weeks for youths is 34. Is that right or is it 32?

Yeah I thought so, my brain scrambled.

Is 3 talent established as undeniable canon in this game? Because my math says if you wanted Youth level to top out at 17.99 (instead of that unlikely 18.52) and you were starting at 7.2 Level max, the max talent you can use to get to that exact number is 3.15.

Considering the max youth coaches are unearthly, is it possible that Divine is actually 3 and the max possible with Unearthly is 3.15?

It's not just weighted stamina. As Speedy said - higher skills are more valuable. It's no coincidence that this 61 sumskill guy had zero excellent skills, if he had them it would cost him more in other skills and his sumskill would be lower. And then there is another factor, how much that player has in subskills... you won't get chart this smooth

It's 34 weeks. But I don't know what happens when youth reaches 18.00, it could be a limit.

If you had enough data eventually you'd get a smooth chart.

You'd assume 18 is the maximum and you'd code it backwards to make sure it wasn't possible to get more than that. That's why I'm asking about talent, because you wouldn't arbitrarily just decide that the max entry level is 7.2. If you have 2 of 3 of the starting point, the end point and the maximum rate of growth, the calculation of the missing variable should be easy to work out.

For example

If the max starting point is 7.2
and the max end point is 18
then the max talent is 3.15

If the max starting point is 7.2
and the max talent is 3
then the max end point is 18.53

If the max end point is 18
and the max talent is 3
Then the max starting point is 6.67

Max talent is pi and skills/pi gives exit level would be the answer i think... would be cool and fit most the math

I've been assured that max talent is definitely not pi or around that 3.15. I'm not convinced to be honest, it would fit pretty perfectly with the 7.2 max start and 18 endpoint.
