He is not very much better, but yes, better.
I would count just 5 skills total for those players like 16yo, so it is very easy to determine the "goodness" of player.
They have huge potential, so thats why they are expensive. Of course, they might be not talented, so the buyer takes the probability and gambles, which is fun!

I too think he is overpaid but there was 1 16y junior from my club (Sandip Shaukat) who went for an insane money, I mean way above what he was worth so I'm anticipating a similar thing for his junior. Maybe successful 16yo trainers might understand their value while we who don't train 16yo juniors might not.
