But wishful thinking :-)

I mean you do have that option already. List at the starting price you want.

What you’re really after is a system where there is 0 risk or 0 tax for listing at a price of X.

Hard no but it won’t happen anyway. Just list at the price you want to sell for and stop trying to cheese the tax. If you list at the price you want and pay the tax then if you don’t get any bids it’s means it’s likely overpriced anyway. If you list at minimal price to avoid the tax and someone bids less than that well that’s your fault for not listing higher.

The exception maybe is if you pay the tax as if listing at x when it is triggered. Perhaps that’s a way and maybe what you were looking for. Still not really sold here either as it’s again trying to take away risk.

I don’t like people promising x and not paying x so have some sympathy but if they promise x then you should list at x and just pay the tax jr if you think it’s too risky for that list for something slightly less than that.

well, I liked the idea even if it's nothing new, but I assumed that it's obvious that listing player that way = seller agrees to list player for the set price and, hence, pay the related tax and buyer agrees to pay that set price so after "clicking button" following things would happen:
- seller would put player on TL setting price as X (not 1 euro)
- seller would pay the tax from putting player on TL according to the current tax rules
- buyer would bid for price X
- time would be 48h counted since the bid occurred
- after bringing the player in another tax would be calculated from the final amount according to the current tax rules

However, currently there is no transfer advertisements subsystem in the new transfers page

I'm thinking more in terms of convenience for seller and buyer.

No relisting for the seller. The player is constantly "available"
No more messing around arranging a price.
The buyer can essentially choose when they want the sale to end and if they don't have the money, this gives them time to get it.

As for avoiding tax? Where did I mention changing anything about tax? The system stays the same.

There you go, Kry gets it.

You kind of hinted at it though in your response by saying no more delisting as each relisting still costs you tax for the initial price relist so the risk is reduced. I did add into my previous statement that there was a chance you weren’t talking about getting around tax but I’ll admit I didn’t read your intention correctly.

Yeah that's what I understood too. You can already set the price you want in the market.
But of course if the buyer is a liar or doesn't keep his word you are cooked.

Best is to demand the starting price or close to it since the beginning. I wouldn't go that far to ask devs to change the existing system in the years to come because it would take them very long too

I don't have stats, but I think it is usually the seller fault who doesn't keep the promise and sets the starting price as 1 euro.
2024-09-26 11:21:44
? The entire point of pre sale agreements is to set the price at 1 euro, to prevent the taxes for the fixed price set.
So if you have an agreement, then it's the sellers responsability to place the agreed sale price.
2024-09-26 11:35:10
I thought that the point is to get the price both sides agreed to. Seller just ignores the agreement and sets the price to 1 euro to avoid tax. Buyer, seeing agreement has been ignored by the seller, rightfully backs down. Seller then cries on the forum that buyer didn't keep word while it is he who is to blame.

At least, that is the scenario I am talking about.
2024-09-26 11:46:42
That's a weird take. Since the game was created, there were 4 scenarios:

a. you list from 1zl without a buyer
b. you list from a fixed priced without a buyer
c1. you list from 1zl with a buyer because you agreed a price
c2. you list from fixed price with a buyer - because you agreed a price, but you don't trust the buyer

The whole point of finding a buyer is to have a starting bid without paying the tax, that's why the price you agree is often/usually lower than the end price that you hope for.

People who don't pay what they agreed never use this agreement, that he was supposed to be put on TL from x price. They just don't follow up with the agreement on purpose or they mess up and forget to make the bid. It has nothing to do with whether the player is place on TL from 1zl or from fixed price. I even had situations where I placed the player from fixed price after agreeing a sell and the buyer was surprised why I placed the player with fixed price and paid high tax for it when we already agreed that he will pay that.

Of course it's the risk of seller whether he believes the buyer.
2024-09-26 11:55:45
Well that's what it's about. Buyer agrees price with seller so the seller puts it. Why would a seller agree a price and then list it for that price and pay the tax? They agreed on a price for a reason...so buyer puts the price.

At least that's how I understand it

In my opinion, it's usually always the buyers fault

I hope it will be the youth school reform if Devs work on anything now.

I got this junior 2 weeks ago; this is his progress so far... total fck up

Libor Vystřelil 16 adequate [6] outfield 25
Libor Vystřelil 16 good [7] outfield 24
Libor Vystřelil 16 weak [4] outfield 23

Am I correct you are complaining about the estimated level of a very promising junior with level around 5 you got at the beginning of the season as a 16y old? I have my youthschool for 6 seasons and I didn't even got a junior close to that.
2024-09-26 13:47:11
Three 16y players this season already?
Congratulations!
Or do you mean the estimation is not right?
