Thema: NEWS Sokker- big changes are coming!

2024-07-02 14:16:00
all the changes they did so far had negative impact

Could you list it?

They should really consider implementing something positive

I hope they will start thinking about YS.

Well, can you list any positive? :-) That would be a shorter list. Or I assume you already listed it.

Bigger league, two games a week, new training system - these are definitely positive for me.

We warned them about YS 2 years ago. Just of few parameters could have been changed using very few resources while waiting their "big plan". As a result, 2 years later, they've changed their plan for YS according to what users were saying 2 years ago. And we have to wait again another "big plan".

The problem is not lack of ressources, its just poor decisions.

Bigger league, two games a week - neutral, matter of preference.
New training system - neutral - has both positive and negative. Better UI, more choice. Lowered number of trainees (pace).

I think that a coach must also have a history with the cups like the club. If he hasn't won he remains a poor coach.

the big reforms - league system and training system - were mostly positive, but yes, the positive effect got an negative overlay by not full compensation of injury durations
2024-07-02 14:26:56
Which makes it neutral instead of positive.

2 games/w and shorten season to 12 weeks were mostly positive ? This had an impact on junior draws, player progression, price inflation.... Finally, devs are "working" on reducing inflation and admitting that YS draws need to be redesigned.

I like 2 games per week, but I admit, now after some seasons it feels like player age a bit too fast, they're gone before you really got them to know ^^

One season is ~3 months.

If you start training a 17yo and keep him for 12 seasons when he is fully trained at 29, it takes ~36 months so 3 years. And that player will still have a couple of good seasons before him.

3 real life years for a player cycle is not that fast IMO :P

maybe I'm older than you and time flies faster for me :)

but btw a hall of fame would be a simple and easy improvement - of course without impact on the gameplay

2 games/w and shorten season to 12 weeks were mostly positive ?

I know it's hard for you to calculate, but we currently have 13 weeks of the season, not 12

Oh this double account :-D. Thanks for your correction Gasman.

When will be coach retirement implemented?

Not faster than in 23 weeks. Maybe even later.
