If they merged small nations together it would make sense (because then they'd be a "big country") but it seems this idea is not favourable to the devs at present.
If anything (and I'm not saying to do this, but if a change was made), it would make more sense to make the groups smaller in small nations, and have the leagues as Div 1 (1 league), Div 2 (2 leagues), Div 3 (4 leagues).
Now I'm not suggesting to do that, because I think 8 is the right number for as it stands, but it just shows how different the game is for big and small nations.
For me, the home and away fixtures are good, because if you are one of two top teams and you lose in the first round of the season, then your season is effectively over. With the home and away, you need to work hard to get the GD up, but you can still win the final match and take home the trophy.

4 games a week is way too much, the impact of just one injury would be massive, it could ruin the entire season and it's not realistic. No RL club has 4 games every week.
I'm assuming you aren't responding directly to me, because I agree, 4 games a week is too much.
Why not small country managers getting second team in other small countries.
And maybe Foreign team would always loose qualifier against local premier league team to keep the first league Local.

Literally a few users did in game polls from 3 countries, and the results they got from actual users were the exact opposite of what the DEVs claim were the results lol, but this is why they made the poll an external server and not using their own poll system, so they could manipulate and say whatever result they wanted.
They didn't even tell 75% of the countries with less than 40 users, that there was a poll within their forums, yet these changes most affect these teams, as they had a choice of either playing teams from other nations in the national cup, or having 4 more bots join their league and playing them.

Forums are public... If the countries were not informed, it's the linguist, mod or admins fault from that country.
And there are 98 countries in sokker. Only 3 did internal polls...
These statistics could also be manipulated...

The changes brought into the game, will be like a breaze of new life. You'll need time to adapt, and that's fine.
But you prefer the silent death that would have occured without the devs?

seems our math is different check the chart and count! 13 weeks one of them could easily be removed because is the pause
I saw first line as warm up and thought the 1st competition match to be on week 1, that's why I've misinterpreted the length...

issue for me is 2 championship games and compromised solutions that will be implement for NT fixtures ..
