What would you train him the next seasons to maximize his performance on the pitch? (Anything except form, I'll need to sell him for his form to go up)

Would he benefit more from def training?
Or would you guys go for tech?

I would give him some extra on technique and then full on defender.
I don't know how many extra's he has on both tech and def, but that's the way I would go with him.

I would say pace, even you say no..... think of it as this: when he is in his early 30´ies, even up to 33-34 he will still be relevant to NT, but not if he dropped twice on pace and is at 14, but if he drops to 15, he still can........ so to ensure his NT career is long (if form goes up ever that is), you really need that extra gap before his pace is too low..... Also a player like this, with talent and skills like his, can get training 2½ seasons from now.... you have time for a pace pop + some few weeks extra, a tech pop and a def pop and then even some time left.... that would be what i would aim for

But yes, you should had ensured he was divine pace earlier to have the best training for him, i would still do it though

But say he gives him a full season and half pace, he gets his pace pop, and then some weeks later, he drops back, because of the stupid random drop rule.
If he trains tech and / or defender, those skills will last far longer.
But that's only my 2 cents :-)

math isnt your strong side...... if he drops, he would still drop the same just from a lower level and be even closer to a minimum level of pace for NT.... also he wont need that long as you suggest, one season pace and he should stay divine untill the bigger drops at 30´ies... third, the pace drops at 28-29 are very low, and can usually only be seen on 18 pace

The pace will drop if it is trained or not.... with everything higher then pace on him, he will faster be uneven in skills, with high enough skills in everything for NT, except pace
