How much could cost a player like that???
2022-12-03 18:53:00
2 seasons ago he would go for something close to 23-25m I think. Now the value is dropping sharply as he is getting older by the week.

edit: also for price reference - 28y 5x17 went for 20m a month ago so something like that now :)

So much effor for so little money. I mean, a 3x divine striker 27yo could cost almost 20M. A 16yo striker today was sold by 20M+ XD
And that 16yo for sure is never going to reach Maikel's level.

is like if we say that Lautaro or Dybala at 28 yo cost the same as messi at 28 yo... crazy

btw, congrats !!!! it is amazing

Agree.

Thanks :)
15m trainees are never for money. Wanted to make him the best player I can possible do in sokker training from beginning to end. Regretted selling my first 5x17 right after he made it at 26y instead of finishing 18s as he didn't get trained afterwards. And I still believe Bogarde had a shot at 5x18 if not for the training reform. Losing 3 weeks of training per season and losing equivalent of ~4-5 trainings due to slower training after reform killed that though...
But yeah, I agree with that, strikers are free money from training comparatively.

But that 16y striker will surprise lots of people in a year or 2. Probably best youth pull in recent years in sokker.

But with current situation [reversed slow training] this 16yo will end up as good as a 17yo worth much much less than him

top strikers get higher value due to side skills, he doesn't have impressive side skills and to improve his pm/def you'd have to use him in laters years with mid/def order so it won't really make sense to do so

honestly doubt he will end up being worth more that current 18yos that you can get for ~half his price, but we'll see
2022-12-03 20:07:28
I think the opposite. We get more training per week than ever with increased general training (extra ~0.05 training per not trained skill = extra 0.25 trainings per training if you count all sideskills) so pulls at younger age could be better than 18ys because junior training is not increased proportionally.

edit: that is if increase in gt is implemented of course.

He has only ss 8 in sideskills (where did you get 5 side skills? you get nothing in goalkeeper and it doesn't even matter, its all about 3 - def, pm, pass)

there are 18yo strikers with 15+ in pm+pass+def

do you think that he will make 7 side skill pops from general training in 2 shorter seasons?
even if he would do it... as I said - he will just get as much as current 18yos

same goes with main training, shorter season, less trainings, every injury matters more etc.

You train 1 of pace/tech/str. You get general in 5 - the rest of pace/tech/str + all of pass/pm/def. edit - yeah, 5 are not sideskills, but the skills you get general training in, said the wrong term.

do you think that he will make 7 side skill pops from general training in 2 shorter seasons? .
No. He will reach 3x16/17 faster (and leave the 18s for general training for the most part) and will have more time for secondaries later. If the trainer is smart and trains him in the corner with 100% eff and starts with pace of course.
Im not saying that he was worth the amount paid though. Just that he will be one of the best if not the best of his generation - but that means less as a striker as there will be tons of 3x18s anyway.

I've seen 3x17 at 27 this season that went for less than 15M...
The reason why strikers cost or used to cost more is the fact that you could train more mids than strikers, so it's more decent midfielders on the market and fewer top strikers.
2022-12-03 20:48:49
I think it is partially true but not the main reason.

Actually in this game you can play 6 0 3 and win your league, cup, ......
But playing with only 1 striker is so difficult to win. So, I think the game itself reduce the importance of midfielders

If you want to see by the quantity of players, then compare 3x17 Atts with 4x17 or even 5x17. It is not just the quantity of available players, but what i just mentioned. It is my opinion, might be wrong

He will reach 3x16/17 faster (and leave the 18s for general training for the most part) and will have more time for secondaries later.

faster than who? the 18yos that for now he is around 8 main skills behind?

anyway, it doesn't really matter that much if a STRIKER becomes 3x 17 as 25yo or 26yo... especially if you can buy two future 3x 17 26yo for the price of one 3x 17 25yo

as for training secondaries later ...yes, that will be amazing, having a 3x 17 striker and then playing him with MID or even DEF order, lovely vision :-P

Just that he will be one of the best if not the best of his generation - but that means less as a striker as there will be tons of 3x18s anyway.

exactly my point

He could have 15 pace at first weeks of his 18y season. Something those 18ys wont have and will have to deal with at later ages. And as far as I understood from Rauls comments - pace trains the same at younger ages as other skills and simply slows down faster. So that alone would make him stand out from others.
Those 18ys will have maximum of 3x10 - so 8 skill points at max behind (if I remember correctly that he was 9/6/7 ?) - and more likely that there wont be 3x10s at start of 18s. Variations of 3x9s are more likely with better secondaries.

as for training secondaries layers...yes, that will be amazing, having a 3x 17 striker and then playing him with MID or even DEF order, lovely vision :-P
well that is down to manager. I would buy a trainee for 25m only for the purpose of making him the best I can so I wouldn't care about that. Otherwise that is a waste of money and we will see with time how this guy pans out :)
2022-12-03 21:10:13
Maybe he will be great, he should.

But the price is a mistake. Even if he sells it for 30m when will that happen? In 3 4 5 6 seasons time?
I would think he is crazy paying 24m at the beginning of the season but paying it at the end it's even worse.

Not a very smart move in terms of resell. Not much room here for profit

Nevertheless, great player lol!

I once bought a player for 16 mill and sold him for 35 mill, so in my book, not a crazy transfer :3

Btw borkos, I completely agree with you

Btw xineon, I completely agree with you
