Your second tutorial is not good in the part of which juniors to keep, not to offend you, but if rookies would follow it as written, they would fire a 16 yo good with 3 weeks in start of season because they have to be +10 weeks according to what you write... they would also fire a 34 week 16 yo weak because you set 16 yo as high as average for minimum skill.... you neither take into account that coach estimations might be wrong, so firing a poor 16 yo might have been an average..... and if you want to keep an 18 yo good with 15 weeks, wouldnt an 17 yo average with 30 weeks be better??
Also writing they can use up to 25k euro on a stamina coach... :/ They start with only 250 k euro and need to save money where it is possible.... :) And training up to very good stamina?? Hopefully not on talents, as there would be waste of training later then... :)

i would NOT advise a newcomer to fire all his coaches directly untill he figured out what to train and allready has at least the coach to train that.
it's safer to just put the one with the most stamina in charge to start while trying to figure out how much wage can be spared based on the sponsorbudget.
as for recruiting a coach that's a last resort because it's luck based and has the potential to make you loose about half your budget at the start in fees. at the very least the best setting for recruiting would have to be explained before it's even considered.
also i would advise to put players for sale more gradually than instantly because even a newbie is still going to need 11 players to put on the field for a match. in case something goes wrong with or during the purchase of other players at least he still has a team then.

That is something that I have to look into, specially the 16y juniors. How it is set up at the moment is to make as much profits as possible and get to know the talents, so that part of 16y 'good' and 3 weeks is not in it yet. But your right, that should also be in it. Maybe 16y should always be kept, not matter how many weeks to go and what skill levels they have. But as it is written at the moment is also to get to know the talents and that is never a wrong thing.

In the end choices have to be made which juniors to keep or reject, and all estimations can be +3 or -3 so that makes it difficult what skill levels to choice and my advise is for at least the 17y and 18y juniors what I have written in the set-up tutorial. But without to much money to spend on a junior school, managers can't just keep to many or all juniors and wait till their talents are know, that will just cost way to much money. Juniors have to be rejected to keep junior school smaller and therefore affordable for these managers and with a chance to make the most out of it. So yes, maybe they reject low skill level talented players, but with keeping those that are mentioned in the set-up till the first Thursday then at least they have waited till the first estimation without paying for it the next Saturday.

If they both have a good talent they both are worth keeping and then be kept for training or be sold with a nice profit.
VERY IMPORTANT and don't forget, I want to make a tutorial that shows the basics and let them do at least the right things, not necessarily the absolute perfect things, and also in such a way the tutorial won't become a long, boring and not understandable text they won't read. If I want to make a long and boring text that won't be understand anymore, I can also simply copy and send the Rules ;)

This is max 5x recruiting costs. Most of the times it will not be 25k they have to spend for buying 1, but if some managers do, it will most probably (or maybe even definitely) be cheaper as trying to recruit 1 ;) Also with max 25k there is a good chance there will always be a stamina head coach on the transferlist to buy so no empty link.
And training up to very good stamina?
Yes, it's a good training to start with in the first couple of weeks (is also still mentioned in the set-up tutorial but will be deleted from the final version as it is already in the first tutorial). And after stamina training, young team etc (all mentioned in the first tutorial) they can start with a training program, and because I have set stamina skill level at at least 'very good' for head coaches for a training program, and often it's more then 'very good', they won't have to train stamina anymore, or almost never, as they will get extra skill pops on stamina while training the basic skills with the chosen training program.

what i'm saying is you're assuming too much. you can't be sure about the amount of time a new manager has before his first match/training and how much time he'll need for the changes in trainers and players you suggest. finding what you need is one the most frustrating aspects of this game and it's going to take time.
i would not talk about profit either as motivation to start a youth team. whether that's going to be the case or not mainly depends on luck even if you do everything 'right' but if you don't know what you're doing and have to count on a formidable-incredible youth coach you can be pretty sure that it's actually a gold sink instead of a profitable investment.

finding what you need is one the most frustrating aspects of this game and it's going to take time.
New managers can bid on the first 2 GKs on the transferlist, the first 8 DEFs and MIDs and the first 6 ATTs right away, and most probably they will have enough players again in day 1 (at least 11 players) to play matches, or else it will take max 2 days to get them:
● Transferlist young GK's (pay extra attention to keeper + pace!!)
● Transferlist young DEF's (pay extra attention to defender + pace!!)
● Transferlist young MID's (pay extra attention to playmaker + passing + pace!!)
● Transferlist young ATT's (pay extra attention to striker + technique + pace!!)
And there are often enough stamina head coaches and 'good', 'solid' and/or 'very good' assistants on the transferlist to buy, and it will take about 1 or 2 days to buy the right head coach and 2 or 3 assistant(s) new managers need, not worth keeping the crappy coaches they get from start:
● Transferlist head coach UNEARTHLY stamina
● Transferlist assistants GOOD general appraisal
(Parameters: Max wage: 2 250 $, Max price: 15 000 $, Coach at least 'good')
● Transferlist assistants SOLID general appraisal
(Parameters: Max wage: 3 400 $, Max price: 15 000 $, Coach at least 'solid')
● Transferlist assistants VERY GOOD general appraisal
(Parameters: Max wage: 5 200 $, Max price: 15 000 $, Coach at least 'very good')
