Thx for the group.... If I had managed a offset surprise against Bulgaria i would be the one promoted And you two to battle for last place in last round... so the group was open a long time, Even i suffered a deserved loss saturday

Our group is ever so slightly open.
Unfortunately, 3rd pot Australia, has lost just once against the top 2 seeds, and not dropped points against any other team, but still not qualifying.
2 draws against the top seed and not qualifying.
Definitely feels harsh

It's certainly always hard trying to beat a big nation with a small team, but you know all about that too haha

Denmark's player squad was insufficient compared to Azərbaycan U21 and Bulgaria. In the first match, Azərbaycan U21 beat Denmark very easily. But since I did not expect the tactic you used in the second match, I was very offside and Denmark played a superior game. We barely got 1 point. (2-2). In conclusion, you are a very good tactician, but especially Denmark could not have made it out of the group with these forwards.
As for the Bulgaria match; You could have defeated the mighty Bulgaria. You started the match very well, but as I said, your strikers could not create easy positions. And despite the early red card, the match was competitive.
Also, since Denmark did not have a large squad, you had a lot of injuries. I wish you success in the next eliminations.

I also followed my old rival Australia's group. Hellas matches are like copies of each other. It was interesting that they finished 2-0 ahead in both matches and ended 2-2 in the final moments, but this was not a coincidence.
Because Australia's squad was not very big.
U21 teams have insufficient condition. That's why you should play with 16 people with 5 substitutions.
However, you finished both Hellas matches with 2 substitutions.
So endurance as a team was not enough. The matches naturally went from 2-0 to 2-2 in the last moments.
Note: Hellas did not make any changes, but probably did not need a coach because they were strong players.

I completely see what you are saying, and I would suspect the same not knowing the stamina of the players, but knowing the stamina and backup players, subs would have weakened the team.
All players not subbed had a sufficient level of stamina to last the game, or in the rare case where they would fatigue a little, they would not fatigue enough to be worse than the player that would be subbed on.

***Group A***
This group promises excitement. While Germany has secured the first place, the second spot is still up for grabs. Serbia and Vietnam are in contention, with Serbia facing Germany in their final match. Will a team from Pot 3 of the qualifiers make it to the World Cup, or can Serbia secure their qualification?
***Group B***
Moldova and Finland have already punched their tickets to the World Cup. The only question remaining is who will end up in Pot 1 and who in Pot 2. This will be decided in their head-to-head clash in the final round.
***Group C***
As in Group A, the top spot is reserved for Hungary. However, the second place is also settled, with the USA under Norbert's leadership having qualified for the World Cup once again.
***Group D***
Spain and Venezuela have secured their World Cup spots. The final round will determine who will be in Pot 1 and who will be in Pot 2.
***Group E***
Argentina has long secured their World Cup spot and the top position in the group. The battle for the second place is thrilling! Will it be Ukraine or Chile? Chile must face Argentina... will Ukraine be the lucky third?
***Group F***
Brazil has confidently secured their World Cup spot and is not in danger of losing their first place. The second place is firmly in the hands of the Netherlands.
***Group G***
The final match of the round will decide who ends up in Pot 1 and who in Pot 2. Both teams, England and Italy, are already qualified.
***Group H***
An intriguing group with interesting results. Turkey has secured their World Cup spot and will play against Croatia, who currently hold the second place but are not yet guaranteed a World Cup berth. Norway, sitting in third place, has a strong chance of overtaking Croatia.
***Group I***
Cuba is assured of their World Cup qualification, but the battle for the first place is still open. Belgium is very likely to secure their spot, and it would take a miracle for Portugal to qualify.
***Group J***
A clear situation. Romania is very likely to take the first place thanks to their goal difference. Both Romania and Bosnia are already qualified for the World Cup.
***Group K***
The final match of the round will determine whether Bulgaria or Azerbaijan ends up in Pot 1. Azerbaijan has the advantage in terms of goal difference.
***Group L***
Uruguay and France have both qualified for the World Cup and are now only vying for the first place in the group.
***Group M***
Everything is decided in this group: Estonia takes the first place, and the Czech Republic takes the second.
***Group N***
Everything is decided in this group as well: Poland secures the first place, and Peru secures the second.
***Group O***
Slovakia is sure to participate in the upcoming World Cup. The question remains who will end up in Pot 1 – Slovakia or Greece? Australia still has an outside chance: they need a significant loss for Greece and to score more than 10 goals. Nothing is impossible.
***Group P***
The surprise team Austria holds the first place and will surely try to defend it against Colombia. This would be a small surprise. Like Austria, Colombia has secured their World Cup spot.

Australia just 1 loss the entire campaign as the 3rd seed, and won every match against lower seeded teams and still unlikely to advance.
Pretty poor system when this can happen.
Will definitely be hoping for a miracle, and put 8 goals past the 4th seed tonight to really try to make it happen, but it's still unlikely.

Vietnam is a very good team and it would be more than deserved if they went through the qualifiers!
@ slamtam - Incredible!!! Again drew! Crazy!
Indeed! 40% of matches!!!
Btw - good luck today.

A strong team like Croatia is about to say goodbye to the tournament. If the game does not change from 2-0 to 2-2 in the second half, Norway U21 may be in the WORLD CUP.
