the groups now do not have teams in a different color to indicate who qualifies, has there been any change this season regarding the classification?

I proposed somewhere else, that:
Keeping actual organisation, ie 13 x 6-teams groups and 4 x 5-teams groups.
But
17 first teams in each groups will come in WC final tournament,
For 15 places left, will be played a qualification match with 30 teams choosen like that:
17 seconds placed in all groups and 13 thirds placed in 6-team-groups.
Match would be calculated by ranking on the last day: 1 vs 30; 2 vs 29 etc ...
But it means that at the begin ... the third team placed in all 6-team groups have to be better in ranking than third team placed in the four 5-teams groups.
That could be made with 10 + 1= 11 journeys only.

It's easier to ignore games with last placed teams from the bigger groups and just qualify 17 1st places + 15 best 2nd places
But in the future it were simplier if:
16 groups, and just first and second teams in groups qualified.
That means today for 98 nations:
14 six-teams groups
2 seven-teams groups
The worse ranked nations were put, of course, into the two seven-teams groups
But it's mean 14 dates in seven-groups teams, with two dates for friendlies into.

but it's still much easier than creating some complicated play offs with 2nd and 3rd teams
