Russia has qualified to U21 WC, overtaking Venezuela after, what, 14 seasons without it?


The last qualification was reached by me and not only this. The Russia has been the second best defense of "all groups" with only 2 goals conceded.

Yes, I remember this and I'm still astonished by this. And after that, we've fell into a long period of no nothingness, first there was no GK better than a youth pull, then the same fate came to strikers. Also I should say thanks to foutinho and tsolias, who have started the rise of NT and motivated the community to do something meaningful about training youth (although it's still far from optimal). But if no one cares about NT, nothing will come out of it.

Also congratulations to Moldova, coming out of a tough group. Even getting China from the 5th pot, that's not an easy opponent at all.
And to Turkey, that was a perfect qualification for you.

And kudos to dasanchez86, that's something crazy, getting Kenya to 3rd place!
