- Matches with last team in the 2 groups with 7 teams do not count.

They do count, these teams take all their points for the pot distribution. So the teams in 7-groups always have an (unfair) advantage.

What is the symbolism in the walkover vs. Philippines a week ago? With the same players in line-up than yesterday and only 8 players in the squad. Maybe the manager just doesn’t care about the team.

I don't know what is the symbolism here too, but it is worth noting Ukraine has elected a different manager this season, who has used the same (?) tactics.

Apparently and as all the 22yos have been kicked out from the squad there is only 8 players left at the moment. Hopefully he starts managering the U21-team.

Some very big surprises today...!!!

1. Slamtam with Austria survives in Serbia and qualifies for the WC.
2. Vacarul (Schweiz) 2-2 against Poland!
3. England wins match against the Czech Republic and conquers first place
4. Eesti looses 1-5 and Latvia wins 2-0. This means Eesti is out of the WC and ArseneWenger qualifies with Latvia for the WC, due to having scored 1 more goal in the qualifiers!
5. Belgie-Argentina 2-2 and bye bye Belgium... not qualified for the WC.
6. Slovensko-France 3-3 and bye bye Slovensko...

Next surprise perhaps China-Colombia. China with Mr Alejandro needs just 1 point to qualify, but even if Colombia qualifies, it is still a surprise, because the favorite was Cuba.
